Dinosaurs

What killed the dinosaurs now kills the humans.

From the bunker 30 feet underground, the meteors sounded like footsteps. Six people, all strangers were silent for the first hours. They were all slowly realizing that this was now there reality. The mile long pantry stacked and stacked with preserved foods and the bunk beds would have to be a livable space until they died. This wasn't just the first of the end though. There had already been a horrible disease spread, practically signaling everyone needed to take cover. Then there was the random loss of animals, breaking food chains and ruining ecosystems. And the last straw was the endless earthquakes and hurricanes . At this point, everyone was rushing to any bunker they could find. The six in this bunker just so happened to be near when the final earthquake struck, and sealed it after the smallest of them all got in. There was obviously people screaming and trying to get in for the first few minutes. But once you're in, there's no going out.

Hour 5// Kevin's point of view

I haven't heard a meteor in a hot second. So does that mean it's over? These people WOULD NOT be my first choice. I think- ok wait can we just think for a moment. IF THERE WAS A GOD THIS WOULDN'T BE HAPPENING. HA. I have out smarted the system called religion. Who is this ki-

"So um," a small blonde guy spoke up. "Should we like introduce ourselves and set some ground rules or something?" He was engulfed in another mans arms. He was way taller and had dark hair. GAY
"Um yeah actually that sounds nice." The smallest of everyone in the bunker said. He had light red hair, almost blonde. gay..? I nodded then looked back across the room. There was a girl? She was silent. I turn back to the others. The red head began to speak again. "I'm Connor. Connor McKinley," he spoke. His tone was happy, but we could all tell he wasn't. "I'm from Clearfield. Clearfield Utah of course." The blonde nodded, "I'm from Clearfield too. I moved to St.George when I was ten though. Oh um- Chris by the way."
"What brought you back, Chris?"
He turned around and poked the male who was holding him.
"This idiot."
The man looked up from the ground,"it's James not idiot."
Chris laughed and turned back to Connor and me.
"Because James wanted to live up on the mountains. You know that neighborhood behind Lagoon?"
"Ahhh yes the amusement park. Up by the fault line is just beautiful."
James cut in, "yeah well we're never going to see it again."
I like this guy.
Chris gave him an annoyed look and Connor just shrugged. It went quiet again. I of course broke the silence.
"I'm Kevin." That was stupid add more.
Connor turned, his sparkling eyes observing me. Nope don't add let the boy speak.
"Welcome to the party Kevin." He said softly. Trying to be sarcastic. But it was just cute? STOP KEVIN.
"Thanks for having me."
