Chapter 5

We than arrive at flats a mud track, where we break rigs and just have fun! I than pull up to josh's truck and he had someone with him. "Who is that I thought to myself" Oh my goodness, can it be, seriously! It's Keith in the passenger side! Keith leans forward in front of josh so I can see Keith plain as day and looks at me with a big smile, showing those perfect white sparkling teeth of his.

"Hello again Hannah and Whitney!" Keith smiled

"Hey!" Whitney and I smiled back

"So, are we going to go break our rigs or what?" Josh said with eagerness

"Uh heck yah! Didn't come out here to just putt around! Make or break it I always say!" I said with excitement

We drive around for at-least 3 hours and everyone was getting dirty, the trucks where covered in dirt and I for sure had dirt all over my body it seemed. We than headed over to Gary's property next to the mud flats. I get out of the truck covered in dirt, you'd think i haven't had a shower in years with what I was wearing! Whitney falls out of the truck and some how ends up getting more muddier than expected! I laughing my head off while she gets up and tries to brush it off like it's no big deal.

We all get around the camp fire while sitting on our truck tail gates and than my truck right next to josh's rig, josh than looks at me and I at him and Keith sitting right next to josh and josh says "Hannah, let's switch places." I look at him with a confused look.

"Ooookkkkaaayyyy" the longest word I used because I was awkward.

Josh sits next to Whitney and I sit next to Keith on the tail gate. It was so beautiful that night, the stars where out and the moon just hovering above the northern star it seemed like. I looking up and just admiring how God is so beautiful and his creation! Keith than looks at me and I can feel someone looking at me, I than turn my head and smiled.

"It's a beautiful night isn't it?" Keith asked softly.

"Yah it is, this is one of my favorite things todo." I said

"Yah, it's great!" Keith said kindve nervously

The silence was still there even though there was small talk with us. Keith is a quite guy I thought to myself. But I'm also a shy girl. I felt my butt becoming alittle numb and I was getting cold and I accidentally moved my hand onto Keith's hand and than I bumped him with my elbow. "Ohhh sorry!" I said "your good, are you cold?" He asked with a concern

He than reaches behind me and pulls the blanket over me and him.

"Is this okay?" He asks me

"Uh yah, thank you!" I smiled

Before I knew it keith had actually scooted closer to me that night, this was a lot closer than us sitting next to each other in class.
"Why me?" I thought as I was sitting there. "Why does he seem interested into me when he could have any girl he wants?" "What does he see in me that is so interesting?" I asked myself

It was late and it was time to go home.. time for bed I thought to myself!
