The Romance I

Chapter 1

•Prince Jin •
" why don't you find a wife already my handsome son?" Mother asked me for the hundredth time already this past month it's annoying.

"Until I see one who catches my eye but for now let me be please our enemy prince Hoseok is threatening our villagers and it's my duty to protect them." She sighed and answered "Alright darling don't over work yourself."

She closes the door softly on the way out, What should I do?...... prince Hoseok threatening my village leaving hundreds of villagers running to the castles doorstep asking for help.
I have an idea....

Oh wait I almost forgot to greet myself, hello My name is Kim seokjin I'm the prince of busan, i have a younger brother Jungkook but he's on his own doing his own things in his own castle. I am twenty one years old and after my father has passed he left me in charge giving me the responsibility of thousands of people's lives in my hands. My mother on the other hand wants me to be married soon, and I only wish my father was here to help me out in this situation.

~later on that day~

"Maid tell my mother I'll be at the village to help the villagers and I'll be back before night fall" I grab my leather jacket as the maid nods her head and bow's as I step out the castle doors and get on my awaiting horse riding towards the village that is not to far.

As I arrive, people running back and forth finding supplies sharping weapons and strengthening their houses all stopped and bowed. I get off my horse and walked up to an old couple.

"hello" i say greeting them with a warm smile. "Prince Jin what a surprise ! Is their anything you want? Water? Bread?" The women frantically speaking.

She seems flustered.

" are you ok ma'am ?" , She answers frantically " oh prince I'm not, not with that evil Hoseok prince, he has no right to threaten us why would he?!?"

"He wants this land and it seems like he will do everything in his power to have it, even if it means slaughtering every one here..." as I answered my eyes wondered watching everyone fretting and rushing to get supplies but theirs this one girl.. her beauty can be seen from miles away she was sitting writing in a book by a fountain looking deep into whatever she's writing down. The women whom was speaking seemed to realize I got distracted and saw me staring at the girl." Thats Iris she's is very phlegmatic , both of her parents were forced to give her baby brother away and work for Prince Hoseok, leaving her here alone." 

" would you mind if I left to speak with her for a moment ?" I asked as the older women and she said it was fine and I went off and approached this so called girl named Iris.

"hello" i greeted surprising her." Oh my! Oh hello Prince Jin" she stood up and bowed, she's so incredibly short makes her seem adorable.
" I'm guessing your not falling for the whole "I'm going to take over Prince Jin village and kill everyone announcement?" I smiled.

She smiled back, wow her smile is beautiful.
"Why should I fall for it and be scared for my life if your face is so calm, which means it probably isn't true?" I chuckled "don't think your right darling, maybe I'm masking the fear I have with a simple smile" she hummed and looked over my shoulder, her face turning pale and eyes wide and frantic "oh..my...god..Is that prince Hoseok !!!!"

I turned around taking out my sword to find Hoseok with the old lady's head I was just speaking with leaving me with shock , everyone turned to look screaming and running for their lives, I stood in-front of Iris protecting her as much as possible.

I shouted "HOSEOK YOU DONT HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS, WE CAN TALK THIS OUT. YOU DONT HAVE TO SLAUGHTER AND ENTIRE VILLAGE ". I heard his evil chuckle from where I was standing "I DONT NEED TO NEGOTIATE ANYTHING WITH YOU " and in one second with one swift movement one of the villagers Head was cut off leaving Iris gasping at what she just witnessed. I turned to her and yelled at her to run. She turned as quickly as she could until one of Hoseok men caught her and a second after blackness over took me.....

I'm sorry the first few chapters are sucky but it gets a bit better!! Thanks for reading enjoy 🙏🏻
