chapter 15

~The next the morning~

*Iris pov*

I woke up to an empty bed, Jin probably already woke up. I got up and got dressed into ripped jeans and found a white plain t-shirt that belonged to Jin. I put on some sandals and headed out the room to check on Jia, she was playing quietly with one her new friends she met in the castle. I decided to go get some breakfast that was waiting for me in the dinning room. I sat down on the chair and touched the plate, surprising it was still hot. I took off the cover to see eggs, bacon, and sausage, I started eating quickly from how hungry I was and finished in 10 minutes. Right when I was about to get up I felt hands on both my shoulders and a kiss to my right cheek, I looked to my right to see a smiling Jin.

"I'm sorry you woke up to an empty bed, the King of Switzerland wanted a meeting with me and Hoseok, were still in this meeting but I wanted to check up on you and at least give you a good morning kiss" I got up from my seat and hugged him "that's adorable, but never do that again. you left a meeting with a king to come see me, and that's not good" he hugged me back and when I pulled away I kissed his nose.

"if Hoseok is here that means Yuki is here right?" he nodded and I started heading out of the dining room "very well, let me get Jia so she can go back to her mom" he nodded and I went to Jia's room to tell her the news.

*Jin's pov*

after Iris left to get Jia, Jungkook came in startled to see me just standing there. "oh um hey.." I looked at him deep in thought and got in front of him. " do you know how to fight?" he looked at me curiously. "I even know Taekwondo" I nodded " very well then I'm giving you one important task" he looked at me wondering what it was.

"For now an on until I say so.... you shall protect Iris at all cost...."

*Iris pov*

I grabbed Jia's back pack and placed her on my hip, and went downstairs to see Yuki waiting on the couch, Jia saw her and yelled "MOMMY!" bouncing around on my hip and catching Yuki's attention. Once I reached the bottom of the stairs I put Jia down and she ran towards her mom, " Thank you Iris for watching Jia for me" I nodded and handed her the back pack. "I hope she wasn't a handful" I shook my head " she was a sweetheart" Yuki nodded. she seemed very to herself so I decided to give her some space.

"I have to do some things, so ill see you soon?" smiling softly at her while slowly walking to the hallway that lead to the kitchen and dining room, she nodded looking at Jia deep in thought.

Since there wasn't much to do, I got curious of what chef's actually do since they are always in the kitchen and leave when everyone goes to sleep. I decided to go to the kitchen, it wasn't a long way there, so I started heading towards there, I felt a pair of eyes in the back of my head and I felt like someone was following me. I looked back to see nothing and I shrugged it off and entered the kitchen quietly, there were at least ten chef's cooking different things, some helping other or cleaning dishes.

I was watching them for sometime until we heard a loud bang and at least 5 to 10 men dressed in black came out with masked faces and started fighting and stabbing the chef's. I gasped then ducked and stayed close to the wall and then that's when I started noticing something. These chef's know how to fight, some chefs were still on their feet with the kitchen knives and fighting back.

Then suddenly someone covered my eyes and my mouth with a cloth, and slowly I started falling asleep, before I feel asleep I heard the person, man say "troublesome girl...." and knocked out.

~Meeting with King Namjoon, Hoseok, and Jin~

*Jin's pov*

"Alright.. England officially declared war on not only Switzerland, but here south Korea, specifically Busan. Meaning even Hoseok is part of this war, since these English men don't know which castle is helping me."

"So by the way my apologies Prince Hoseok, I never meant for you to be apart of this" Hoseok nodded understandably.

"It's fine, Prince Jin had explained me the situation, when he came to visit me after you came and asked for help" King Namjoon nodded.

"Very well, did you inform your families and what might happen" Hoseok nodded and I chuckled nervously, they both looked at me.

"I kind of may have not told....Iris....But everyone else knows and is prepared" King Namjoon started rubbing his temples and Hoseok looked at me in disbelief.
"I thought you left to inform this Iris girl" I looked at him seriously " I did, but Iris has been through so much I don'-....."

'PRINCE JIN, ENGLISH MEN HAD INVADED THE CASTLE!!!" 

As all three of us men stood up , Namjoon looked at me angrily " you don't what Prince Jin" I shook my head and immediately thought of Iris. I started looking around frantically at people running and some fighting back until I spotted Jungkook fighting one of the English men. I whistled at one of the guards near me and he tossed me his sword, I stabbed the English man and looked at Jungkook with a deadly stare "where's Iris?" he looked at me with the same expression "you didn't think I can handle your task big brother?" I kept my stare on him waiting for an answer "she's safe Yuki took her along with Jia" I nodded, and Joined Namjoon and Hoseok fighting of the men.

   ~when the English men invaded the castle. Aka, the kitchen~

*Jungkook pov*

"from now and on until I say so..... you shall protect Iris at all cost..."

And that's what I did, after Jin gave me the task I found Iris going down the stairs with A kid. I hid under the stairwell listening to the conversation and putting on my hoodie.

"MOMMY!"

"Thank you Iris for watching Jia for me"

"I hope she wasn't a handful"

"she was a sweetheart"

"I have some things to do, so ill see you soon?" What does she need to do??

I spotted Iris entering a hall to where the kitchen was and quietly followed her, she seemed to have sensed my following and looked back. I quickly hid between some plants, she shrugged and walked into the kitchen and I mentally cursed myself for almost getting seen. I checked to make sure i have the cloth that was wet with alcohol in my pants and waited by the kitchen door.

After a few minutes I heard a loud bang and quickly entered the kitchen to see fully dressed men with masked fighting our chefs/guards and found Iris ducked down by a wall. I quietly went behind her and covered  her eyes and grabbed the cloth and placed it over her mouth and nose, and waited till she fell asleep.

"troublesome girl..." once I felt her go limp I picked her up bridal style and asked a guard to bring a horse and to alert my brother of the invasion of the English men.. yes I knew this might of happened.

Once I entered the living room Yuki saw me and then saw the passed out Iris, she immediately started asking questions. "shut up, get on the horse and take Iris to your castle. Don't stop just head there immediately, if you see strange men, then head to my castle, DO NOT come back until Hoseok or Jin comes to get her or you. NOW GO" I smacked the horses ass hard and it started galloping, I watched as Jia held her mom tightly from behind as Yuki carried Iris on her lap. and I prayed that Hoseok castle didn't have these English invaders... Yes I knew that too.
