Feeling better

Elena's POV

It's been a week and half since the incident at the beach happened and I could tell you I'm kinda feeling better, I haven't seen warren since the beach to tell you the truth and for some reason I can't help but feel like this was some how my fault in a way like maybe something wade told him made him angry but what do I know I wasn't even there. for the most part the girls have been trying really hard to cheer me up for the past week and a half and i could say I'm really glad to have friends like them.

Later on in the day me and the girls just decided stay in my room just to hang out as we were all focused on the tv we heard a knock at the door I thought to myself maybe it's warren but my hopes gave up on me when Rogue said
"Come in"
i saw Jean but this time she's wasn't wearing what she's usually wears to work this time she wore jeans, shirt and her hair was in messy bun she looked less teachery. She had asked how was I doing and I said I was fine and doing better, She had asked me that when ever I wanted to come back to work in her class room that I could return anytime I said "great I'll be there next week on monday morning"
She said are you sure your ready?
I said yeah it would be great to see the students again.
She said good I look forward to seeing you take care girls.

When Jean left kitty asked me does this mean we won't hang out like this anymore?
Hey kitty of course we can hang out like this you guys are my best friends you guys are practically my sisters now since I got here since none of the other kids would talk to me.

Well I'm glad we're friends jubilee said, Awww group hug said kitty and we all hugged in that moment I knew I would cherish this moment forever after the hug we all continued to watch a movie we were watching E.T. Where Elliot shows e.t. his room with all of his stuff I thought this was great you should have seen kitty and jubilee's faces they were fascinated by e.t. Saying why would a boy befriend an alien but not a mutant that's just outrageous if you ask me.

And I just laughed I told them it's not a real alien it's just a movie so calm your horses down and they laughed, a few minutes went by after that when Kurt appeared right in front of the tv we all yelled KURT!!

Move out the way your blocking the tv he said sorry, then he asked if we wanted pizza cause the boys bought some we all said yeah he said okay then go it yourselves and then vanished, we all sighed I paused the movie and then we all went down stairs. As we were walking down the hall way I saw a bunch of kids going towards the dining room,and I guess kitty knew what  that meant so she had to hurry up before all the pizza was gone so she grabbed my hand and I said what are you doing?

She told me to hold her hand tight and I asked why until she stared pulling me and right before I knew it we both phased through the wall I was shocked but then again I remembered she could do that until I couldn't keep up and I accidentally let go of her hand and I ended up hitting the wall which made a loud noise and really hurt in my case. As I managed to gain consciousness I got up but I couldn't see cause it was really dark in this room so I tried to look for a light switch until I found it, but it was weird cause I also found a hand on the light switch as well until the light switch turn on and guess who I saw...

I saw warren looking at me confused we were literally face to face except he looked like he just woke up from sleeping so you could definitely tell just by the way his wings looked cause his feathers were ruffled up, he had bed hair no shirt on only basket ball shorts so it was really hard for me to keep my facial features in check. After a few minutes of eye rubbing he had asked me what are you doing in my room? second how did you even get in here? and third are you just gonna stand there and check me out or give me an explanation Elena?

In that moment I didn't know if my heart was ever gonna stop beating, because he literally got me tongue tide especially how he said my name in his sleepy raspy voice. by the look on my face he could tell I was struggling to answer but I managed the courage to ask him why he was avoiding me for the past week and half.

Warren stood quiet not sure how to answer I gave him some time to think before I managed to have the courage to walk right out that room because I just could not take it anymore, when I'm with warren he makes me feel like I can't breathe he makes me feel so nervous, never in my whole life has anyone made me feel this way not even my old boyfriend Christian made me feel the way I feel when I'm with warren.

And what I thought I had with Christian my old boyfriend was special cause he was my first love, I thought he was gonna be the person I'll always love but i guess he didn't feel the same way.

for almost three days he hadn't called me or even texted and you know me the worried girlfriend over here decided to go check on him at his house to find him sleeping with some skank in the bed we would sleep in together. In that moment I just wanted to lash out at Christian for what he did he broke my heart that day but I just walked away, as I'm walking towards the door I hear Christian call out my name saying that he could explain but you know from watching to many movies how that scene plays out.

So right when my hand was about to touch the door knob warren said wait almost in a soft whisper but I heard it. So I turned around to face him and asked what he told me the reason "I've been avoiding you for the last week and half since the beach is because I could never forgive myself if anything happened to you or if I hurt you so I thought it was best for the both of us if I just stay away from you."

But somehow you managed to find me in my room as if the fates brought us together. Well about appearing in your room I can explain that me and the girls were in my room and Kurt appeared telling us if we wanted pizza so as we all walked down, kitty told me to hold onto her hand so that happened and here I am surprisingly. Well thank you for at least telling me the truth about why you've been avoiding me so now if you excuse me I have to get down stairs to eat pizza before every one eats it all.

As she makes her way downstairs Warren smiles at how cute she is when she's nervous but that's also one of the things he likes most about her. She unique she doesn't throw herself at guys like other girls she's one of kind and that's why he's determined to make her his and only his.

Hey guys CxC here 1st of all happy Father's Day !! 2nd sorry I've been lagging with updates for this book it's just two weeks ago I was taking finals and that was just the worst and so stressful but thank god that's over I'm on summer vacation now and just relaxing umm how was your day/afternoon/ night ?
