This Country Boy

On My Mind

It was about noon time when a bunch of the guys who worked on the site came walking in the door. I groaned, and got to the orders. I had about 7 of them. I got them finished, and served. One more person walked in and it was Ben.

"April, you can go ahead and take your lunch break.", Kathy my boss said. "Thank you.", I said.

I walked around the bar straight into Ben's arms, and he bent down and gave me a quick peck on the lips. The guys that work on the site all went oooooo. We both chuckled a little, then walked hand in hand to order some food. There was one bar stool left, so I just sat on Ben's lap.

We both ordered some food, and sat there and ate. For a drink he got one beer, and I just got tea. Ben then said, "When does your shift end?" "3:30", I said.

"You can come to the site after work if Megan will drop you off, and we can go home together.", he said. "Perfect", I said in agreement.

It was 3:30, and Megan went to go ahead and pick up Phil, and I told Ben they would drop me off at the house. I did that, because I wanted to make Ben a nice little dinner, so when he get's home he'll have something to eat.

When I got to the house, I realized I didn't have a key. I then realized Ben usually leaves his windows unlocked. I went to the back of the house, opened a window, took the screen out carefully, and climbed in. I put the screen back in place, and then went straight to Ben's room. I changed into some pajamas and one of his fishing tee shirts.

I walked into the kitchen and started making some dinner from what he had in his cabinets and refrigerator. I got out some steak, potatoes, and some green beans. I mashed up the potatoes and made mash potatoes, then I made the green beans, and then finally cooked the steak on the stove (I can't use a grill very well).

I finally finished making everything then put it on two plates. As I did that Ben walked in. "Hey baby.", he said while kissing my lips. I gave him a hug while kissing him.

"Oooo, dinner. Thank You Baby.", he said putting a peck on my lips.  "No problem. Also I love you.", I said. "I love you too", he said. We kissed once more then sat down, and ate the dinner I made. I have to say it was actually really good.

We both finished eating. Ben went to the living room to watch baseball, while I cleaned the dishes. After I finished I went to my room and got in bed, and just sat there thinking.

About 30 minutes later Ben came in saying, "What you doing in here?" Shit. "Oh, I was just thinking. That's all.", I replied. I got out of the bed, and ran towards Ben's room, jumped on his bed, and quickly got under the cover's. A couple seconds later I felt something heavy on me.

"Ben get off me", I whined. He got off me, and then I heard a couple thumps and a belt being undone. The covers then lifted up just a little. Ben climbed in, and spooned me. I interlaced my fingers with his, and just held him close.

He kissed my neck. Said his I love you, and goodnight. As I turned around and kissed his lips with passion, and said I love you too, goodnight. I turned back around. Soon I fell asleep.

Thinking I will wake up in his arms the next morning. Dream come true.
