After I told Felix about the difference in my uniform compared to the others he has come basically everyday. Chan told me he's a regular now. I have to admit I'm not surprised that he would do something like this but, I am surprised he is so set on figuring out who I am. I'm not exactly sure why I won't just tell him, maybe because I don't trust him?
"Ow fuck!" I cursed dropping the coffee pot. My wide eyes stared at the mess I just created on the grey tiles below me.
"Oh goodness Changbin, were has your brain been the last couple of days?" Woojin asked pulling paper towel out from the dispenser.
He grabbed my hand and wiped the hot coffee of them.
"Sorry I've just been distracted," I muttered and stared at the ground.
"Yeah I can see that," he laughed.
Woojin has always been a lighthearted man. No matter the mistake he gave us second chance. I don't think I've ever seen him with a frown once, and he always cares for the staff here very well.
"Okay go to the first aid kit in the back and put some ointment on that burn, you don't want a scar do you?" He asked and patted my shoulder.
"I should clean the floor first," I said heading toward the mop.
"No no no, I got it, clean yourself up," he chuckled and gestured to the first aid kit.
I nodded and bowed, scurrying to the kit. I opened it and pulled out the ointment, rubbing a small amount over the burn. It wasn't too bad if a burn, just enough to turn my hand red. I sighed and leaned on the wall behind me. I'm not sure what's gotten into me lately, why was I on edge so often?
"Hello!"
My ears perked to the familiar voice of a boy whom I've been avoiding like the Black Plague. My eyes widened and I peeked out to the front of the store, there stood Felix smiling brightly.
"Ah Felix, good to see you!" Woojin smiled and gave him a bow.
Felix has befriended basically everyone in the shop, excluding me. At this point I'm surprised he hasn't taken a guess that it is me. I supposed he is more dense then I thought?
"Hey Changbin how is that burn doing?" Woojin called from the front of the store.
"Fine why?" I shouted back, not bothering to peek out again.
"Felix was wondering," He responded and then asked what Felix would like today.
I pursed my lips and looked at the ceiling. He must suspect it's me by now, there is no way he would do that if he didn't.
I walked out to the front of the store and smiled at Woojin.
"Looks better already," he said referring to my burn.
"Yes, thankyou," I bowed and glanced at Felix.
When we made eye contact, the smirk plastered on his face was hard not to miss. I expected him to say something about how he new it was me, or just ask me how my day is but he just thanked Woojin for his coffee and went to sit down. When he sat in his seat, he looked back up at me and smirked again. I looked away, heat rising to my cheeks.
"Why would you stare like that, creep," I whispered to my self and begun my work again.
