I quickly looked over at Skye, glaring at him. He was lucky he was my best friend, I wouldn't have let anyone else dragged me with them to the pointless party. He simply laughed at me, rolling his eyes at my attitude. "Relax, you'll have fun! You're dressed as a sexy school girl, the guys will eat it up!"
"....I'm VERONICA from HEATHERS."
" Yeah yeah, whoever that is. You and your musical obsession."
" Hey! It is NOT my fault you're weird and don't understand the brilliance of musicals." I grumbled to myself, but Skye simply laughed at me again before allowing our conversation to fall into silence.

It didn't take long for us to reach the party, and before I knew it I was already being dragged into the place by Skye. Of course, once inside the building, my dearest friend directed me to the alcohol before ditching me to go flirt with a cute guy.

" Wow, thanks, love you too." I mumbled to myself, grabbing a red solo cup full of an unknown liquid. I was too aggravated to care what exactly it was. I slowly slipped the liquid before scrunching up my nose. " Ugh, beer." I hated beer, but I kept the cup to drink anyways. I needed something in my system if I was going to make it through this party.

I made my way out of the kitchen as other people began filling it up. I kept the red solo cup in my hands, lightly sipping on it as I focused on avoiding eye-contact with people. Otherwise they would try to talk to me, and I really didn't want to go through THAT mess.

Before long, familiar voices began to reach my ears. My eyes widened as I quickly turned around, and there stood Michael and Jeremy. The two who were supposed to be best friends, though Jeremy had been acting like a dick lately. Michael seemed upset, and seemed to be trying to explain something to Jeremy. But Jeremy didn't want to seem to listen to whatever Michael was saying.

Unable to hear anything, I quickly began making my way closer to the pair. But the closer I got the more heated their conversation became. Jeremy ended up walking away before I even got close enough to hear anything, and Michael had disappeared as well. I frowned at that. With some alcohol in my system, I was hoping I would have the courage to talk to Michael more... But now didn't seem like the time to confess my feelings to him, anyways.

" Michael?" I decide to call out, looking around for the male. After a few minutes, I began to grow worried as I still had yet to find him. That is until I passed by the bathroom, and watched a girl bang on the door. The response the person in the bathroom gave?
"I'm having my period!"
Of course, the drunk girl didn't seem to notice that it was a masculine voice who said that. I watched as the drunk girl told the person in the bathroom to take their time before she stumbled off. " Michael?" I mumbled, walking up and knocking on the bathroom door softly. I knew that was his voice. I wasn't drunk enough to fall for the period line.

Instead of a response, I heard Michael start...singing? Was he singing? What was with this school breaking out into random songs?! Of course, I wasn't complaining. I just was upset I didn't seem in on their dance and music numbers.

" Michael in the bathroom. Michael in the bathroom at a party, no you can't come in!"
I frowned as I continued to listen to his singing for a moment, but eventually pulled away from the door. I didn't want to eavesdrop... Instead, I made my way back to the kitchen and grabbed two more cups of beers. I carefully held them as I made my way back to the bathroom. Honestly, I was surprise I didn't spill them. Normally I am quite clumsy, after all.

Not wanting to interrupt him, I pressed my ear against the door in an attempt to hear him.
" Or wish I'd off myself instead. Wish I was never born!" I heard him continue to sing, causing a frown to form over my lips. I pulled away from the door for a moment before pressing my ear against it again.
" And all you know about me is my name. At some party, I'm so glad I came." He finished singing, as I heard silence following that.
" Michael?"
Nothing....
" Michael, please, its (Y/N), let me in."
Still nothing...
" Look, I don't want to be here either. Skye ditched me and I don't know anyone else..."
Of course that was met with more silence.
" ... I have drinks?"
Finally the door opened, and I felt my heart ache at the sight of him. He was wearing a long sleeved shirt that read "Creeps," but it looked as if he had been crying. What had Jeremy done to him? " People are going to think something is up if we leave the bathroom together..." Michael said, looking at the ground. He was trying to hide the fact that he had been crying...
I timidly smiled at him, making my way into the bathroom anyways. " That's okay, I don't really care. Besides, I'd rather be in here with you than out there with them." I explained, closing the door with my hips before I offered a drink to Michael.

He quickly accepted it before he went and sat down on the edge of the bathroom. Silence filled the small room as both of us sipped on the beer, neither knowing what to say. " So... Jeremy's been a real dick lately.." I said awkwardly. I didn't know what to talk about. I didn't have enough alcohol in my system to not cause me to get nervous around Michael.

" I don't want to talk about him." Michael said, quickly shutting that conversation down. I nervously swallowed before nodding my head.
" Then... What do you want to talk about?"
" Why are you in here with me? Why not out there with the rest of them? I know you have friends."
"Because my friends are doing... other things, and I would rather be in here with you..."
Michael fell silent at that comment, and left me staring at my alcohol, swirling it around in the cup.
Suddenly Michael finished his alcohol, looking up at me. " You want to get out of here?"
