In comparison to my old town, Santa Carla could be described as a bustling city. Where I used to live was a graveyard in contrast to how many people were out and about currently. It had been a long drive here and I wanted nothing more than to get to my new house. My name is Tay, and I just moved into town. It's a fresh start, a clean slate to use as my own canvas. It took around 13 hours just to drive here, but so far it looks like it was worth it. I managed to steal a nap not too long ago so I could go a few more hours before needing to actually call an end to today.

There were a bunch of glowing lights that really drew attention to one particular part of town, it wouldn't hurt to check it out. Having paid movers to set the house up for me yesterday, I won't have to worry about setting up much when I do go home. As I approached the light-filled area to park, music began to flow through the air. Hopping out of my vehicle I grabbed my jacket from the passengers' side, it was a bit chilly out. Sucking in a deep breath a smile tugged at my lips, being stuck in a car for so long really made one appreciate the outside air. A metal sign was hammered into place on what I can only imagine is the entrance to whatever this was called. Leaning in a bit to read the sign I promptly discovered that this was the Boardwalk, 'One of Santa Carla's best attractions!'. I couldn't really argue with that, anywhere that had a light up Ferris Wheel and the smell of fried food radiating from the entrance already beat any Waffle house no matter how hungry you were.

As I started to explore the Boardwalk I saw a variety of booths and stores set up, there must be a fair amount of business here if these stores are still going. Neon Signs produced one hell of an electric bill. Ear piercing stands, tiny places dedicated solely to funnel cake and a lot of others were scattered about the place. A Carousel was set firmly in place across from a video store that had orange and blue signs glowing from the inside, strangely enough, there were quite a few adults on the ride. Maybe it was simply because I could, or perhaps because other people older than me were doing it, I decided to pay for a small go-around on the machine. Choosing where to sit on a Carousel was an important decision, you could really tell a lot about a person based off of what they chose to sit on. Everything from Unicorns, regular horses, tigers, wolfs, and everything in-between was available on this ride and after much hard thinking, I decided to go for the wolf with yellow eyes. I can't exactly say why but hey, I like it.

As the ride slowly started up, lights and music coming from overhead gave off a kind of charming and cozy feeling. For a new town maybe this wouldn't be so bad. I grinned a bit as I thought about the fact I'd be living here from now on, I might even start coming to the Boardwalk every now and then. Snapped away from my thoughts I heard a man behind me grunt, dissatisfied with whatever had happened and four chuckles followed. Looking back I found four men standing and messing with other people. Four, very attractive men might I add. They must be models or somethin-shit! They saw me watching them!

Quickly, I spun around and tried to focus on absolutely anything else. Cheeks red with embarrassment I tried to drown out the sound of heavy footsteps approaching as I nervously hummed the repeated tune of the ride. Inwardly screaming I saw a young, curly-haired blonde man step in-front of me, a large grin on his face as he let his eyes wander over my features. A tall man with dark brown hair placed himself on my right side, another with wild long blonde hair and a 'Twisted Sister' vibe to him on my left, and the last walked up just beside the Chesire cat in the front, his hair was spiked and his grey eyes were piercing my soul. Leaning down, elbow propped on the head of the fake wolf, the Curly haired one spoke.

"Well look at this. Something must be wrong with my eyes since I can't take them off of you." His grin slipped into a smirk as he watched my features struggle to withhold the grin that attempted to break through. The dark haired man on my right bent down a bit to get a better look at my face, his lips that were once set in a straight line curled up in a side grin. "I think something's wrong with mine too Marko." He chuckled lowly and brought a hand up, his fingers pushing a stray piece of hair behind my ear. "Can I help you boys?" I spoke a bit quieter than I had intended to. All four of them exchanged glances as though they were silently talking to each other, grey eyes stepped closer to my left side and 'Twisted Sister' moved over to allow him more space. "What's your name?" His voice was melodic, as though someone managed to turn silk into a sound.

My heart beat increased as for a brief moment, I almost forgot my own name. All of their eyes were trained on me and it took a lot to prevent my breathing from going shallow. "I'm Tay." The dark-haired man was the first to speak as he let his eyes wander over my clothing. "Tay. What a pretty name." His grin never faltered as he soon pointed to grey eyes. "That's David, that one is Paul, curly over there is Marko, and I'm Dwayne." He took hold of my hand and pressed his velvet-like lips against my knuckles. The red tint in my cheeks was only growing more and more noticeable by the second. "Charmed. But again, can I help you four. Or are you just here to interrogate me?" I managed to relax a bit now that I at least had names to put with the faces.

Paul hummed quietly as he swung around to Dwayne's side. "Well, let's just say we've got this . . . feeling." "Like a clench in our throat." Marko chimed in. "Or a burning in our gut." David whispered. "Let's say that you're special. Do you feel anything?" Dwayne spoke the gentlest out of the four of them, but now that I think about it. My throat's been burning almost this whole time like cinnamon gum was stuck to my tongue. Pleasant, but noticeable. Each one of these men had their own unique smell and each one I looked at gave me a different feeling. Marko made my throat burn, David made my legs feel numb, Paul managed to make it difficult to focus on anything, and Dwayne made my lips tingle like drinking peppermint tea. I wanted to lie and say no but it seemed like all of them had already caught on. Each one of them grinning in their own way. David offered me his hand. "How about . . . we show you around town?" Paul snaked his arm around my shoulder. "You can ride with me." The other three shot him a noticeable glare and he simply smirked. Maybe Santa Carla was the best place I could've moved to.
