Unfortunately I've come across some disadvantages of this as well...
-not being able to ride most of the roller coasters at Cedar Point (because if your like me, your knees aren't even which prevents the safety bar from clicking into place)
- walking long distances in general, I get bad stump, hip and lower back pain.
-technical difficulties (which I will explain in my next chapter)
- Trying to ride a regular bike (I did at one point have a three-wheeled bike, or as I liked to say a "grown up trike")
-any time I have to go through a security check or metal detector arch, my leg ALWAYS sets it off without fail🙃 I don't know if it's from the leg itself or because of the metal rod I have in the same knee, but it's a pain in the a$$
*disclaimer: these are things that I myself have found that I can't do, this does not mean that other amputees can't do them.
