"Y/n! Wake up, come to the barn with us they have stools and it will be fun!"Mary and her ladies hollered. Y/n shot up and realised Romeo fell asleep too, under her.
"Oh, no."Y/n muttered.
"Y/n?Are you Alright?"They asked.
"Yes I'm fine, I'll meet you there!"
"Oh, ok, see you there."
"Bye!"
Y/n waited to hear their footsteps leave them she shook Romeo awake.
"Wow chill."Romeo joked sitting up and rubbing his eyes.
"Shhh!" Y/n hushed, "You need to leave, make sure NO ONE sees you!"
"Ok, ok, bye."Romeo smiled sweetly whilst tip toeing out.
Y/n got dressed into a white dress that went straight down to her toes, it had a sparkly bodice with sparkly white sleeves, she plaited her hair and curled the rest.
Y/nwalked out to the barn to see a lot of guests, her eyes wandered until she saw Mary and her ladies, she ran up to them and puffed when she reached them, she joined them in listening to the old man behind the mini boat stalls.
"...and then write your regrets on this ribbon, tie them to the stern and watch as they sail away."
"What a lovely tradition."Mary smiled as we turned away.
"Who was in your chambers this morning, Y/n?"Kenna grinned.
"Shh! No one! I was alone."Y/n tried persuading them.
"Yeah, yeah, you must tell!"Aylee exclaimed .
"I was alone!"
"Hmm, like you we're alone last night?"Mary smirked.
"Oh shut up!"Y/n chuckled making them all giggle.
They eventually all parted and went their separate ways until it was just Y/n and Mary having a nice discussion until Francis came to show Mary a boat he brought her but was interrupted by a soldier.
"Pardon me, but we found a woman running at the perimeter of the woods, My Lord."the soldier explained. "She's had quite a fright. Her carriage was overrun by bandits and she's asking for you."He added
Just then a blonde woman walked out with a soldier.
"Francis."She breathed
Olivia.Y/nthought.
"Olivia."Francis said quizzically.
"Excuse me."Francis said turning to Mary and Y/n, running off to Olivia.
"That poor girl. Who is she?"Mary asked y/n.
"She's Olivia D'Amencourt. Her family lived at court for a time. I believe they shared a mathematics tutor."Y/n explained.
"Mathematics? I see. And when did their mutual education end?"
"Oh. She left a few months before you arrived."
"Broken-hearted?"
Y/n didn't reply but merely took a sip of her of her drink.
"Y/n. It's alright. Tell me."
"Yes. He was."Y/n replied after Francis took off with Olivia. Mary looked slightly sad and suspicious.

[Romeo.]
"I couldn't stop thinking about Her , she was such a mystery, such a beautiful mystery.
I was leaning over the balcony with my head resting on my hands looking over to the rest of the castle when I saw Her walk out and look at some flowers, I stole a piece of paper from Lord Palmela and wrote a note:
'Meet me at 10 o'clock, near the lake, under the stars.'
I threw it down and it hit her head, I cringed a little even though I knew it couldn't hurt.
She let out a small grunt, she then opened it but before I could see her reaction Lord Palmela pulled me from my trance.
"Oi! You! Romeo come here and polish my shoes, I'm going out with some Lords and I need to look presentable."
"Yes, coming."I replied still staring just long enough for her to turn around and look up to me smiling brightly, I returned the smile just before my arm was grabbed and pulled back into Lord Palmela's chambers.
"Until tonight"I thought.
"Go on! Polish them!"Lord Palmela instructed me and that's when it hit me. I'm a servant. She's a princess. She could never do this with me it would ruin her, I sniffled to stop any tears from falling.

9:45pm:
Y/n snuck out of her chambers as she took her time getting there, when she arrived at the lake she saw a familiar figure sat near the lakes edge y/n smiled to herself knowing it was Romeo's.
She walked up to him and sat next to him
"Hello Princess."He smirked not even having to look up to see her to know it was her.
"Beautiful isn't it?"Romeo gasped.
"The stars, a-and you."He added shyly.
"Thank you,"y/n returned sweetly.
"I like you."Y/n added after a long while of silence.
"I like you too." They stared into each others eyes getting lost in each other's gaze,
They leaned forward both their hearts thumping wildly, just as their lips were about to collide,
They heard someone clear their voice from above, They both froze for a while then they turned their heads to see who the source of the noise was...
