Chapter 10: Is Hermione jealous?

Hermione walked in the common room through the portrait and came directly at us. She halted when she saw Ginny's hands wrapped around my arm and resting her head on my shoulder. Her face washed blank with confusion, like her brain cogs couldn't turn fast enough to take in the information from her wide eyes. Every muscle of her body just froze before a frown crept onto her face. I was sure what Hermione was thinking right now. What is Ginny doing with my Albarus?Why is her hands around Albarus' arm and her head on his shoulder? Is she trying to steal my Albarus away from me?

"Albarus!!!!"she boomed.

"Hermione!"I blasted, standing up."Where were you this morning?"

"I was in the library studying?"

"Studying?"I said with startle look on my face."but Hermione the exams is ages away!"

She glared at me and retorted,"Exactly, I want to prepare myself early enough."

"You know Hermione, I think you're wasting your time studying?"

She wore a puzzled expression while her mind was still a surging perplexity.

"You never know Hermione, what if Dumbledore cancels the end of year exams?"I aforesaid, moving behind her.

"That means you would have studied for nothing and actually wasted your time."

Fires of fury and hatred were smoldering in her small narrowed eyes.

"There's no way exams are going to be cancelled."she snarled.

I know Hermione was angry at me when she saw Ginny's hands wrapped on my arm and her head resting on my shoulder and now she's even more angrier for teasing her about exams being cancel so to bring her smile back, I jolted her from behind, uttering,"Come on Hermione don't be like that."

"Albarus leave me alone!"she said coldly.

I jolted her again, uttering again,"Come on Hermione smile for your Albarus!"

"No!"

"Come on Hermione stop being stubborn,"

She turned around,gave me a fake smile and aforesaid coldly,"Happy now!"

I was dissolves into a puddle of laughter,"You really look cute when you're angry."

She loured and pounded me with a book she held in her hand on my shoulder several times until I crouched down chortling,"Hermione, I'm sorry!Please forgive me!I'll never tease you again."

She halted, louring me and uttered,"Stand up!You're forgiven!"

When I stood up,I quickly grabbed her by the waist and thrust her towards me. I snatched the book from her hand and glanced at her eyes with pure evil. She new very well what I was thinking. She stared at my eyes with her puppy-dog and watery eyes, and said softly,"Albarus, please leave me alone."

"Don't hurt me Albarus!Albarus, please don't hurt your Hermione!"

I gave her book back, cupped her cheeks with my hands and aforementioned softly,"Don't worry Hermione, I'll never hurt you."

She threw herself, hugging me and rested her head on my chest. I patted her long bushy-hair and glanced at Ginny who looked furious but I didn't care at all. I only care of the bushy-hair girl lying on my chest. I moved my lips closer to her ears and whispered,"Hermione, let's go!We're late for Portions."

"Albarus , can't I stay a little longer?" asked Hermione softly.

"Actually I don't mind being late for classes but I can't let you to be late for classes because of me"
