I woke early on Saturday morning and lay for a while thinking about the coming Quidditch match. I sat on my bed nervously mainly because of our match against the Slytherins in the afternoon. I never wanted to beat the Slytherins so badly than today. The first person I needed to see was Hermione, only she can calm me down. So I got up, dressed, and went for breakfast early hopping I'll see Hermione. In the Great Hall, I found the rest of the Gryffindor team huddled at the long, empty table, all looking uptight and not speaking much.

After a quick scan around the Gryffindor team, I saw Hermione sitting next to Goerge. I briskly went and sat beside Hermione who immediately smiled when she saw me.

"Good morning Albarus"

"Good morning Hermione"

She wrapped her hand around my shoulder, moved her face closer to mine and worriedly asked me,"Albarus, is everything alright?"

"I'm just a little tense about today's Quidditch Match against Slytherins,"I replied.

"Albarus, you're going to be alright and after all you won us Gryffindor, your debut match against Slytherins,"she said softly."so I think you can handle pressure."

"Thanks Hermione, you're the best!"

When I took one look at her I saw her smiling which could drive one's anger away. I served myself with two toast breads, one sausage, two eggs and a cup of tea.

"Albarus,"Hermione said softly.

I turned to look at her.

"Have you finish your Transfiguration homework?"asked Hermione softly.

"No,"I replied."And you?"

"I've finished,"she aforesaid."I can finish it for you if you want to?"

"Really?"

She replied by nodding her head.

"Thanks Hermione, you're a life saviour,"

At evening, the whole school started to make their way down to the Quidditch stadium. Harry and I entered the locker rooms and wore our scarlet Gryffindor robes then sat down to listen to Wood's pre-match prep talk.

"Slytherin has better brooms than us," he began."No point denying it. But we've got better people on our brooms. We've trained harder than they have, we've been flying in all weathers -"

"Too true,"muttered George Weasley."I haven't been properly dry since August."

"and we're going to make them rue the day they let that little bit of slime, Malfoy, buy his way onto their team."Chest heaving with emotion,Wood turned to me .

"It'll be down to you, Albarus, to show them that a Seeker has to have something more than a rich father. Get
to that Snitch before Malfoy or die trying, Albarus , because we've got to win today, we've got to."

"So no pressure, Albarus" said Fred, winking at me.

"Don't worry captain, there's no way I'm going to let Malfoy catch the Golden Snitch before me,"I uttered."Tonight we're really know, which is the fastest broom in the world. Nimbus two thousand One or Nimbus Two Thousand and Two."

"That's the spirit Albarus!"Wood rejoiced."

"That's why you're so much better than Malfoy,"said Fred.

"You never give up,"-GOERGE

"You, Albarus, have a winning mentality,"said Wood, pointing on my chest with his finger.

As we walked out onto the field, a roar of noise greeted us;mainly cheers, because Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff were anxious to see Slytherin beaten, but the Slytherins in the crowd made their boos and hisses heard, too. Madam Hooch, the Quidditch teacher, asked Flint and Wood to shake hands, which they did, giving each other threatening stares and gripping rather harder than was necessary.
