Did she just asked me to run in the Japanese Stairs?
Did she just called me lampayatot?
Ano bang problema nitong babaeng to! Pinatitripan niya ba ako?!
And then the flashback started again,
She came wearing that hilarious smile.
Little did she knew that that smile changed my life.
She pulled my hand and asked me if I want to be a friend of her. Of course I want to!
She then hugged me and asked me to run with her in that Japanese Stairs...
I cant. I had a sprain in my left foot. So i said no.
She asked and then begged but I i did not bugged.
She ran a couple of steps and then screamed, 'lampayatot!'.
I am a man of course I had my pride to protect. And so I ran.
She may not know it before but she taught me how to believe and never doubt in myself...
Until now that she's gone I still kept her lessons instilled in my heart. I never forget and I won't forget.
If I ran for her before, then why not now?
With this in my mind, I smiled and so I ran.
Sophia's POV
Haha! Ang mokong tumakbo rin pala! Nakakatuwa para bang nung tumakbo ako dito sa napakalaking hagdan nito kasama siya, ang sarap sa pakiramdam. Yung para bang matagal ko na tong ginagawa. Napangiti naman ako.
Nung nasa tuktok na kami niyakap ko siya.
Ewan kanina pa kasi kumukurot sa dibdib ko yung mga kakaibang facial reactions niya. Tapos ewan natutuwa ako sa pinaggagagawa naming dalawa ngayong araw.
"Thanks, Kieth. Friends na tayo, ha?"
Bigla akon may naramdamang basa sa braso ko.
"Kahit ano, para sa'yo Raven.."
Tapos hinigpitan niya yung yakap niya
Napangiti na naman ako.
"Same to you, Kieth."
