Opportunities Arise?

If I closed my eyes I could clearly hear all the people outside yell. But if I opened them, I could only see black stairs. Finn and Malcolm were talking in a corner. We were supposed to open the show, so all of us felt a bit nervous.

"How do you feel?" Malcolm laughed. I gave him a nervous smile. " I don't know. I feel weird." A lady approached us and told us to walk up the stairs. It felt like a black hole in my stomach or just something really heavy. I took a deep breath and looked at Finn, but felt something in my hand. I looked down to see Finn holding my hand. My mouth formed a 'O' shape while looking down. But then we were on stage, and Finns hand fell back.

People were covering the ground and skyline. Thousands of people were yelling. Most of them were young people, but didn't they have school? We found the instruments on the stage.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! ARE YOU READY TO HEAR SOME MUSIC?" Finn yelled into the microphone. A "yeah" grew in the crowd of people. "Get ready to hear.... BLACK BANDITS!" he continued while Malcolm played on the drums. He began playing the beat as I took a deep breath.

"Have you got color in your cheeks' Do you ever get the feeling that you can't shift the tide that sticks around like something's in your teeth" Finn sang really good. I kept playing the same rhythm and all of the sudden the black hole in my stomach disappeared. My smile grew and I met Finns eyes. People sang along and danced. It was perfect. Everything was perfect in this moment. When the song ended I had to cover my ears with my hands, because of all the screams.

We waived and bowed. We turned around and walked down the stairs. "Omg omg omg. We were amazing." We talked for a long time about it all, but got interrupted by the same woman as before the show. "This man wants to talk to you." She said with the same emotionless tone.

"Wow" the man said after the woman walked away "My name is John Howell, and I'm a producer." When he said the last word my heart dropped. My smile got so big it hurt. "I'm looking for the new. I'm looking for the fresh and you guys were totally amazing. The drums were just....." He kissed his thumb and index finger. "The voice is crisp, sexy, satisfying and just wonderful. The guitar. You nailed it girl. That was what held it all. The three of you are AMAZING"

I didn't know what to do so I just blushed and looked at my feet. "If you want to be big in this world, keep this card." He said and gave Malcolm his card and walking away. We gave each other big eyes and Malcolm turned the card around to see a name and e-mail.

"Next stop Hollywood" Malcolm whispered. We talked for a long time and heard all the other peoples music, But Malcolm left us because he needed to meet with a friend or something, so it was only Finn and I. I wanted to ask him about the thing he had done right before the show.

"So" he said, "Do you wanna hang out at my place" he asked and smirked. "Yes, but I'm really hungry" I said and followed him. We bought a pizza and went to Finn's place to watch Netflix. People were stopping us on the street and wanted to chat but Finn just wanted to go home.

I sat on his couch opening the pizza. He turned on Netflix and searched for a something. "Do you know the Truman Show?" He asked. "I've heard about it" I answered with pizza in my mouth. "Do you wanna watch it" he asked. I nodded. He turned it on and approached me. He sat under the blanket and ate pizza. It felt cozy. After eating the pizza we were about 20 minutes into the movie. Our bodies were kind of melting together. My head rested on his shoulder. His head was on top of mine and his arm behind my neck.

Hellooooo guys. This had a romantic twist so I hope you liked it. Am I the only who feels bad for Malcolm? He is just there. But anyway, I hope you liked it c: have an amazing day.
