Fat.
Who knew that a three-letter word hurt so much.
Sure I wasn't huge, or even overweight.
I had a paunch.
A stomach. with a little extra belly.
A little extra on the thighs I admit but nothing you would see in the overwheight section.
But that word.
The F-A-T word
Hurts, even when said in a kind way.
Especially by those close to you
Even when said to help you.
Especially when said to remind you of the fact.
I know okay.
I am aware of that little extra.
I am more than aware.
But that doesn't mean you say I am look fat.
No.
It doesn't mean you can.
F A T
How I hate that word.
