Zach~ I was just sitting at the kitchen table on my phone when my daughter walked in and I didn't even notice until she coughed, probably to get my attention. "Hey Aubrey, what's up." I said turning off my phone. "hi" she said looking nervous. "What's wrong ?" I asked. Whoops... too far. "Um well..." she looked at her feet. "Are you okay?" She looked at me and said, "Hey dad, do you know where mom keeps her stuff?" I felt bad but I was very confused, "What stuff honey?" "Her um period stuff." "Oh yeah it's in our bathroom upstairs ." I said fast due to the fact I probably just made her feel very unconformable seeing as she was 13 and her mother wasn't home and she wanted to get out of the room and away from me. Just then my son popped into the room, he was laughing hard. "Wow dad. Smooth." "Shut up Liam." I laughed slamming my head down onto the table. "This is gonna be a good one to tell mom." He continued to laugh. "Go to your room you jerk." I goofed with him getting up and throwing a fake punch.

Jack~ Y/n was away and I was out to grab something from the store while my 16 year old son, Thomas, was home with my 13 year old daughter, Edith. I got home to see my daughter huddled up on the couch and my son beside her rubbing her back. "Hey guys what's going on?" I asked setting a few things down. "I know something is bothering her but she won't tell me." He said concerned, my kids were very close but there were certain things they drew the line on. "Okay well bud can you go in the kitchen or something really quick so I can talk to her?" "Yeah." He said getting up and giving his sister one last rub on the shoulder. "Daddy my stomach hurts." "Well what happened?" I asked her, she hesitantly  answered, "My period." Usually she told her mom these things but I had no problem hearing it and helping since when I dated y/n she had cramps a lot and all of my 4 sisters had their periods too. I lead her upstairs laid her down, "Hey baby stay here I'll be right back." "Okay." She said clearly in pain as she doubled over. As I got to the kitchen my son asked, "is she all good?" "Hey So um bud I didn't say anything about this but can you grab your moms heating pad from our room your sister has period cramps." He got it and I gave my daughter pills and the pad and she didn't even ask for her mama once.

Daniel~Y/n had gone out on a girls trip with her friends for a few days leaving me with our 12 year old daughter. Now this was perfectly fine until I was relaxing and I heard her yell, "Dad!" From the bathroom. "What's wrong sweetie?" I asked her through the door. "Da-dad I'm bleeding." Okay now this was too far and sent me into panic I got out my phone in case I had to text y/n. "Where are you bleeding?" I asked through the thick wooden door. I waited a minute just to get no response. "Bailey, baby where are you bleeding." I heard her shuffle around and said, "uh-um down there." She said so quietly it was almost inaudible. "Hey um, it's okay." I told her, "So hun you know mom told you what a period was and how to use the stuff?" I told her making an awkward tension that could break the wooden door between us. "Y-yeah." "Well use one of those then when you come out you can call your mom okay?" She was quiet so I figured she was doing her stuff so I waited and I don't know why but periods were still awkward even though I have a mom and my slightly younger sister Anna that I grew up around plus y/n.

Corbyn~ Y/n was out of town with her parents and the house was low on food so I decided to take my daughter and go get food at the store. She insisted that she pushed the cart so I let her as I walked slightly behind her, we were just wandering and getting stuff when I saw a spot on her pants. I quickly threw off the jacket I had on, "Hey Scarlett wait a second." I handed her my jacket and told her she could tie it around her waist, I figured it must be embarrassing seeing as one every girl talks about it and I mean its life but I guess it's whatever. "Thanks dad." She said face red with embarrassment.  I just smiled and nodded then I said, "how about we finish up getting food for the house then we can get you some stuff." "Okay." We wandered and finished up then I proudly strolled into the period section with her which really didn't phase me a ton seeing as I used to do a this all the time with y/n so I don't see why this would be much different. She started to look around and I helped her pick out what she needed seeing as I had experience because of my sister Ashley and the lovely y/n.

Jonah~ Y/n was out for a few days because something with her family came up so I was home with just my two kids. My 15 year old daughter and 17 year old son. I was starting dinner and talking to my son, Callum, and then my daughter, Raelynn came down for something, "Hey!" i said to her enthusiastically. "Hey." she mumbled to me grabbing a glass, slamming it on the counter, my son gave me a questioning look and I gave one that told him I had no idea what was happening. "Hey please don't slam that." I told her. She was acting weird, normally she was always happy but today she was not that. She rolled her eyes and went the the fridge to get out some orange juice and then when that was out she filled her cup but it back but then to my surprise slammed the refrigerator too. "Hey, what are you doing Raelynn." I asked her. "Can you stop slamming stuff." With that she went upstairs leaving the juice on the counter. I gave her a minute then turned off the dinner, "I'll be right back Callum." "Okay." He said pulling out his phone and probably scrolling through his twitter or Instagram (oh yeah you guys can follow me on those sites @ trista_skyler13 ;) always plug) I went upstairs and she was on the bed crying as I slowly cracked the door open an walked in. "I'm sorry dad I didn't intend to be mean." She cried. I pulled her into a hug, "I know." We just sat there and then I said, "It's that time isn't it?" I laughed. "Yes." She said embarrassed and probably wishing her mother was home.
