When we got home, Luke sat on the couch while I went upstairs. I quickly undressed and started the water. When it got warm, I stepped in and showered off. As I felt the droplets hit my skin, I felt at ease and didn't think about any of my troubles. It made me feel so serene. When I got done, I dried off and wrapped the towel around me. I didn't know exactly what to wear, because I rarely went to parties with Luke, Ashton, Michael, and Calum. I am the typical teenage girl who loved to stay at home by herself and read romance novels.

I opened my closet and selected a dress that was my mother's. It was actually a pretty modern dress considering that my mom bought it a couple of months before she passed away. It was a dress that flowed down to my mid-thigh and it had a red-coral shade to it. The center hugged my torso and the sleeves reached down to my elbow. Once I put that on, I picked out some gold pumps I got for my birthday last year from Michael. He always got me things for my birthday that were a little flashy, but tonight, these shoes worked.

I went into the bathroom and dried my hair. Once I finished, I put my phone on BlueTooth and turned on some music. As I curled the ends of my hair into ringlets, I sang to the music. "I'm holding on your rope, got me ten feet off the ground. I'm hearing what you say, but I just can't make a sound," I sang. I picked out a gold bow that matched my shoes and put it in my hair.

"It's too late to apologize," I harked. I heard the door open and I immediately turned off the music. I walked out of the bedroom and saw Luke smirking. "That's the first time I've ever heard you sing," he said. "Yeah, I usually like to do my singing privately," I said tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. "You shouldn't. I mean.. Your voice is beautiful. In fact, it gave me goosebumps," he said rubbing his arm. "Thanks, Luke," I said walking back into my bathroom to work on my makeup.

As I put on my eyeliner and eyeshadow, I could see Luke staring at me from my mirror. I looked back and gave him a goofy look making him chuckle a little. Once I finished my makeup and swiped on some lipstick, I went downstairs to find Calum, Michael, and Ashton sitting on the couch in the living room talking to my dad while Aaron was playing his video games.

The Boys must've heard Luke and I walking down, because they all looked behind their shoulders and started to smile. All of them except Ashton. He looked like he was dreading to go to the party with me. "Hey," Michael and Calum greeted in unison. We both greeted them back and my dad looked at me. "You look beautiful, Florence," he said looking at my dress. "Dad, if you don't want me to wear it-" "No, I want you to. You remind me of your mother everytime you wear it. I like it on you," he nodded. I nodded back and hugged him.

Once we both drew away, the Boys and I said our good bye's and then made our way to Michael's car. Michael drove the lot of us and we all listened to All Time Low, Michael's personal favorite band. "So where is it?" I asked above the music. "A frat house at CCU," Calum answered. "You'll love it, Flo. We've been to a couple of parties before and every one of them have been awesome," Luke said. I nodded silently and sang quietly to the music.

After about twenty minutes of driving, we made it to the campus and I was in awe at how big it was. We drove down the streets for awhile until we found it. The frat house was a couple of stories high and in every window you saw, you saw either strobe lights or multi-colors. On the green lawn, you saw people flooding through the front door and red cups littered the lawn. We parked on the other side of the road and walked up the driveway.

Once we got in the door, it seemed like a sonic boom of sound pounded at my ear drums. The music was almost deafening. I covered my ears and looked at the boys, who were laughing hysterically at me. I felt embarrassed and uncovered my ears. I felt so innocent and oblivious at the moment that my cheeks started to turn red. I followed the boys to a counter and Luke handed me a red cup. "What is it?" I asked. "Vodka," he returned. I scrunched up my nose in disgust and handed him the cup.

He got another cup and filled it with something else. He handed me the cup and said,"Water." I thanked him and drank the cold liquid and felt satisfied. We all walked over to a group of guys and while the Boys were talking to each other, I felt so out of place. "I'm going to explore," I told Luke. "Just be careful," he told me. I nodded and I walked around. I started to walk backwards and look up at the ceiling and the staircase wondering where it went to.

I felt something hard behind me and I fell to the ground. My drink fell all over me and I sighed. I saw a hand and I looked up at its owner. A guy with lilac hair and a nose ring looked down at me and smiled. "I'm so sorry. Let me help you get dried off," he said in what seemed to be an Irish accent. I grabbed his hand sheepishly and he helped me back up. I continued to hold his hand and he led me up the stairs to a bathroom.

He closed the door behind him and looked under a sink and got out a white towel. I sat up on the counter next to the sink while he patted my face with the towel. "I want to apologize again." he said,"I'm Niall by the way." "Florence.. and I want to thank you for helping me." He smiled and nodded sweetly.

"Do you go to this college? I don't recognize you," he said. "No, I don't. But I will be attending college soon." "Oh, so you'll be a freshman?" Niall asked. I nodded and he smirked. "Where to?" "University of London," I answered. "Really? What are you majoring in?" "Music." "That's amazing," he complimented. "Thanks."

It was quiet for a little while as I attempted to dry my dress and I looked up to find that Niall was staring at me. "What?" I asked. "Nothing.. it's just that you aren't like a lot of girls around here." "I get that a lot." We both stared at each other awkwardly and then we broke our gaze. "How about that drink?" he asked. I nodded and he grabbed my hand again leading me down the stairs.

We got down to the place where Luke, Michael, Calum, Ashton and I were earlier and asked me what I wanted. "Water," I replied. He chuckled a little as he poured me my drink and I narrowed my eyebrows. "What's wrong with not drinking?" I asked sounding offended. "Nothing. I like that you don't drink. It's nice," Niall replied. I nodded as he handed me my drink and I took a sip.

"I want you to meet some friends of mine," he said leading me toward a couch in the other room. A group of punks like Niall stood in a circle. To be honest, they reminded me of Harry. Harry. I needed to get him out of my head. At this point, Harry was dead to me. I could care less about Harry.. Did I?

"Hey guys, I want you to meet Florence," Niall said to the group. They all scanned my body up and down and I started to feel like they were trying to intimidate me. I nervously scratched my arm as I stood there in front of the three guys.

"I'm Zayn," a guy with a blue streak in his hair said. Zayn was a very good looking guy. He had an olive tint to his skin as well as many tattoos littering his arms. "Louis," a guy with what seemed to be a tongue piercing said. Louis had many tattoos as well, and seemed very outgoing. "Liam Payne," another said. Liam seemed very mature as well as a party animal. He had lots of tattoos like the others had and earrings and a little scruff on his chin. The other boys had it as well, but his stood out the most.

"Nice to meet you all," I said politely. "The pleasure is all our's," Liam smiled. I returned the grin and shifted my balance onto both of my feet. While Niall was talking to the inked boys, I sort of slipped away hoping that they wouldn't find me. It was rude to leave the person that helped me, I know, but my curiosity was eating me alive to see what was upstairs.

I walked up the stairs cautiously watching where I was going as the strobe lights were flashing. I made my way down a hallway that I have never seen before. All along the walls were different doors. There were so many doors that I didn't know what to do with myself. I walked down the hallway and put my hand around a door handle. I slowly twisted the knob but something stopped me.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you."
