March 14th, Province Of Chieti, 1988

Few days were laid after, I've returned home and my parents were hard working. I didn't want them to pity me so I just played it cool and let Stella back home.

"I can't thank you enough..." I said hugging her. She nods and let's go.

"Hey...If I see your boyfriend around I'll tell him that he's a waste of your time...You deserve better then this." She says. I nod, she was like a sister to me and I felt so bad but good that I left him behind.

"Thank you..." I said. She nods and I went to the house with my backpack. As I went in the house...Silence.

I only see dim-lighting and Nico on the chair of his study. I walked in and he looks up.

"Darling!" He shouts rushing over to me. I smiled at the smell of the familiar scent of vanilla on his shirt.

"Why are you back so early." He asked holding my face in his hands. I stared at him before keeping my silence to myself. He sighs before sitting down on the chair in front of his desk. I sat on the chair of his study. A big spinny chair.

"You know you don't have to hide anything from us you know..." He says. I looked at him, what was he getting on? I nod understanding. He went forward and touches my hand.

"I have been through the same position as you. Heartbreak..." He says. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"You don't have to hide about your relationship with us." He says.

"See, love might be infinite but the person you share with that exact same compassion will not be." He says. I bit my lip from letting myself cry again. It was Craig's call, not mine.

"Craig called me last night and asked me where you were. He told me how sorry he felt and how sorry he felt for what he did. That's when I knew...See, he didn't even have to say he loved you but..." He says. I nod. Even though he might've not said it before he just felt like he said it before.

"You two gave each other not because you wanted to but you trusted each other. You both held like a stong puzzle. But...Darling, I'm so sorry for what he did." I folded my arms.

"He might not love you but you did and that's a good thing. That shows how trustworthy you are in a relationship but he was just not the right mix of your tea." He says. I nod, I jaw clenched.

"Do you want him to stay here or do you want him to go?" I asked him. He shrugs his shoulders.

"Up to you darling...But keep it quiet." He said. I nod and stand up. He stands up too and hugs me tightly. He loved me more than Craig did.

As someone's car beeps we left each other embrace and looked at the door.

"Oh, it must be Michael." He says. I nod and walked outside. As the door opened hastily it revealed a wrecked man. I couldn't see the man behind it, looks like someone familiar.

Michael walks in and placed an arm around Craig's shoulder. I looked at him he seemed intrigued that I was here. He removes Michael's arm from his shoulder and rushed over to me.

"Elle! I'm sorry!" He shouts chasing after. I ran into my room and locked it. He bangs on my door and shouts.

"Please...I wasn't the person I was that night!" I hit the door back with the exact force. He stops and placed his forehead against the door. I was crying now. I laid my head on my legs. Can't he just let me go?

"But you meant every word. Admit you love Lily more than me!" I shouted. He stops and I hear his cries on his door. He placed his hand on my door and stays there.

"I didn't know she was coming...I just wanted some time with you..." He says. He actually sounded truthful for once. I sniffed and laid my head back.

"Okay...I'll pack my things and go back home. You deserve someone better." he says leaving my room. I shaked my head and closed my eyes.

He walks in his room and starts to pack up his things.
