~ sometimes the forever is limited, but that doesn't decrease it's value. Does it?~

Nandini was packing her stuff, and simultaneously biting her nails, in apprehension. She was so nervous to know his reaction, so afraid that he might misunderstand her. To be really honest, she had no solid reason for what she did, or that she thought. Or how else could she convince herself that she did spend a night with someone she just wanted to bring out of despair?

The knock on her hotel room's door broke her reverie and for a microsecond, her heart fluttered.

Could it be Manik?

She chided herself the next moment, why would he come here and hold her by her waist and kiss the daylight out of her? What? Nandini slapped herself as she tried to fight the blush that erupted on her cheeks. What the hell was she thinking?

Smiling like a fool, she opened the door to find the house service standing

Smiling like a fool, she opened the door to find the house service standing. The boy had a cheeky grin as he handed her a bouquet of red roses, which apparently someone had asked specially to be delivered to her. Nandini frowned before accepting it. The flowers were fresh, and had a note attached. Smelling the fragrance, she plucked the note out.

" You were outrageously smart, I agree. But, darling, why did you forget who I was?"

It took her two seconds to recognize the sender, and two more seconds to blush. A complete minute later, it struck her and she gaped.

What exactly did he mean by it?

Keeping the bouquet on the bed, she opened the door and ran to the reception, to inquire if it was him and soemhere in the huge part of her a human fist sized heart, it was also an urge to see him, atleast once more.

But, she failed. The huge smile with which she had ran out, faltered when she didn't find him, or a clue that could tell her that the bouquet was by him. For a second, she held the reception desk by one hand and tried feeling her racing heart with the other, her doctor eyes could feel even the visible pulsation in her left dorsalis pedis artery (the vessel that supplies blood to feet), and in that mement she somehow just knew it was him. No justifications, just an intuition.

Har dafa wahi, jadu hota hai tu jo mile,
Sab sawar jata hai, yara ander mere,
Ek lamhe me kitni, yaadein ban jati hai,
Mai itna hasti hu, aankhein bhar aati hai.

Dejected she walked back to her room, and was irritated at her own clumsiness. Who runs opening the door to her hotel room, wide?

Mumbling to herself, she closed the door and picked up the bouquet. Then, thinking something, she hugged it tight, closing her eyes,  and she could feel her heart beat coming to normal.

A chuckle made her open her eyes abruptly and she saw him, sitting on her bed in his full glory, giving her a loopsided smile.
