Then and Now (liam fan fiction)

Chaper 3

Star P.O.V

My alarm went off waking me up. I groaned and turned it off I then rolled out of bed and went to take a shower. Once I was done with my shower I looked at the clock. “No I’m going to miss the bus” I said while I put my clothes on. Once I was dress I grabbed my bag and ran down stairs and out the door. I was running down the road when I was tripped. I fell to the ground I looked up and saw that it was James and his friends.

“Hey, nerd  watch where you are going” James said while his friends laughed. “Leave me alone James” I said quietly.  “What did you just say?” “I said leave me alone. Can you not hear” I said but louder this time. “You are going to regret that Star.” After he said that they started kicking me and punching me. After a few more minutes I could not feel it any more my whole body went numb. “Meet us at the back of the school at lunch or your little friend Liam will get it too.” With that they left. I got up even though I was in so much pain. I had missed the bus so I had to walk which it was a 10 minute walk from here. I could just go home but I cannot let them hurt Liam.

Once I got to school I went to the bathroom to clean up since I already missed most of my first class.  I got the cuts cleaned up and lifted my shirt only to see a nice sized brues starting to form. I covered my black eye up. I was finished just in time for the bell to ring. I walked out of the bathroom and to my locker to get what I needed for class. When I was done at my locker I started to walk to class when I heard Liam call my name. I stopped in my tracks and turned around only to be pulled in to Liam for a big hug.

“ugh” I cried out in pain.  Liam pulled away quickly “what happened are you ok? Where were you? Why were you not on the bus or in first block? Are you hurt? Did I hurt you?” “Liam calm down I will be fine. I was not on the bus or in class because I fell down the stairs this morning, and I hurt my side a little I will be ok.” I hope he believes my lie. “Ok let me see your side to see if it is ok.” “no Liam its fine come on let’s get to math before we are late.” “All right lets go.”

At lunch

The bell finally rang for lunch I was not looking forward to this. I had to sneak out of class with Liam not seeing me. Once I was out I quickly got in the crowed so Liam would not see me. I then walked out of the back of the school. I was standing by the wall waiting for James and John to show.

“Look who actually showed up” John said. “Is a good that she did cause I had something good planned for Liam if she did not show” James said. “LEAVE LIAM ALONE” I yelled at them but only to be punched in the stomach.

“DON’T EVER YELL AT ME. DO YOU UNDER STAND?” I just shake my head yes. “ANSWER HIM” John yelled at me while kicking me again. “Yes I Understand” I said trying not to cry. “Good now get up.” I started to get up but I guess I was to slow because John pulled me up by my hair. “AHAH” I screamed. “Hold her up John.” John then held my arms back while James hit me. After what felt like forever the bell rang and they ran off.

Liam P.O.V

I saw Star run out of the class and I ran after her but I lost her in the crowed. So I just went to our usual lunch table and waited for her.  The whole lunch went by and she was nowhere to be seen. I got up and headed to class only to see Star there with her head down.

Her clothes where dirty and I could just tell she has been crying. “Hey star what’s wrong?” I asked while I rubbed her back. “Nothing I’m fine it’s just been a long day.” I could tell she was lying because she did not look at me when she talked.  I did not push it for now I will just get it out of her later when we are alone.
