chappter 5

Star p.o.v

The next morning I woke up to my alarm. I got up and walked in to the bathroom. I did my morning routine, but I skipped the part of looking at my many new bruises and scars.

When I was finished I went to the kitchen to find food. Then headed out to school. I really do not want to go but if I don’t James and John will just go after Liam, and I made a promise to myself that day that I will never let anyone hurt Liam again.

Once I arrived at school I went to my locker to get my books. I waited for Liam in are usual spot when he did not show I got scared. That James and John got to him. It was not like them to not show up to give me my morning beating. With not seeing them or Liam I was even more scared. I know I should be happy that James and John are know where to be found  but I’m not I’m scared they got to Liam.

When the warning bell rang I decided I should go to class. When I walked in to class I looked up to see if Liam was there. Once i saw him a wave of relief ran through me. I ran over to Liam and engulf him into a bear hug.

“Well hello to you too. Did you miss me that much?” “Liam there you are I was so scared that they got to you when you did not show in are normal spot.” “What? Who? I was running late” he said pulling away to look me in the eyes.

O crap I can’t believe I said that. “Umm no one I just missed you and I did not get much sleep last night” I said with a laugh. I hope he bought the lie. “Don’t lie to me Star.” “I’m not” “Yes you are now tell me.” “I’m not lying what I speak is the truth.”

“Whatever you will tell me. Do you want to come over tonight? I have some exciting news to tell you.”

“Ya sure.”

Skip to the end of the day

I have not seen James or John all day which made my day ten times better. I walked to Liam’s and my spot to wait for him. I was just thinking and was oblivious to what was going on. I did not know Liam came up behind me until I felt his arms snake around my stomach. I have to say I had butterflies in my stomach. I have liked Liam as more than a friend for awhile now and I think tonight might be the night I tell him.

“Hey, star.” I tried to ignore the butterflies to answer back. “Hey, Liam.” “Are you ready to go?” “Yep lets go.”

We started to walk to his house. Which was not far from mine. Once we got there we were greeted by his mom. “Hi Mrs. Payne” “what have I told you about calling me Mrs. Payne?” “Sorry Karen.” “There you go now come give me a hug.” “All right you two. Come on Star.” “Ok I’m coming.”

I let go of Karen and followed Liam to his room. I sat on the bed and decided that it was now or never. “I have to tell you something” we both said at the same time. “Ok Liam you go first what is the exciting news you had to tell me.” “No you go first.” “Nope now spill.” “OK I am going on the x-factor!”

I was shocked I just sat there. “Star?” “What? ya  hey congratulation I’m happy for you.” I said with the biggest fake smile I could pull and hugged him. “Now what is it you wanted to tell me.” “Um nothing.” I could not tell him now. “Awe come on tell me.” “When are you leaving? “ I said trying to change the subject. “I’m leaving tomorrow.”

Wow I have to say I was not expecting that.  “Ok will it’s your night so What do you want to do?” “Umm how about we just hang out and watch movies?” “that sounds good to me.”

All throughout the movie I had my mind on Liam I can’t believe he is leaving tomorrow. I just looked at him. I did not realize I was stairing until he spoke up. “Hey are you ok?” “Ya why?” “You are just being really quite and are just stairing.” “Sorry I was just thinking how much I am going to miss you.” “Hey Star it will be ok we will talk, text, skype all the time.” He said pulling me in to rest my head on his chest where I soon fell asleep.

Liam P.O.V.

We were watching Batman when I felt her eyes on me. All through the movie I would look over at her but only to notice she was in deep thought. . “Hey are you ok?” “Ya why?” “You are just being really quit and are just stairing.” “Sorry I was just thinking how much I am going to miss you.” “Hey Star it will be ok we will talk, text, skype all the time.” I then pulled her in for a hug and not soon after I looked down to see her asleep on my chest.
