Chapter 7

Harry p.o.v

Hope and I were just hanging out when we “ran into the lads.” Ok so I told them where we were they really wanted to meet her and every time I try to introduce them she comes up with something she has to do. Once she saw them it looks as if she was trying to hide. “Star is that you?” Liam asked. Hope just stood there in shock so I spoke up “No this is Hope.” “Oh sorry you just remind me of a friend” Liam answered back. I was a bet confused. “Well sorry I don’t know any Star. I have to go bye Harry nice to meet you guys” Hope said in a hurry. Then she took off.

“What was that about?” “Ya I did not mean to run her off. She just reminds me of a good friend of mine. I had before all of this, and I messed it up.” “I honestly do not know what that was about I have never seen her like that. What do you mean before you messed it up Liam?”

“Let’s go back to my place and I will tell you.”

After Liam told us everything he showed us a picture. Once I saw it I knew that it was Hope I had to talk to her. I guess I was spaced out for too long because Louis said “Harry are you alright man?” “What um ya. I…I have to go.” With that said I left and called Hope.

Liam P.o.v

Once we got to my place we all sat around and I started from the beginning.  “So let me get this straight you just stopped talking to her when she needed you the most?” Zayn asked. “Yes, but I did not know that all of that was going on until years later and it was too late she was gone.”

“That really sucks Liam do you have a picture of her we can help you look for her” Louis said. “Um ya here.” I handed it to the lads to look at.

Once Harry saw it he looked as if he saw a ghost. “Harry are you alright man?” “What um ya. I… I have to go.” Then he just got up and left. “what was that about?” “I have no clue.”

Star/hope p.o.v

After I said bye to harry and the guys I ran home and locked myself in. I do not know what to do so; I just sat in my room thinking. After a while I had fallen asleep only to be woken by my phone going off. I rolled over and looked to see who it was. Once I saw it was Harry I answered.

On phone

“Hello”

“Hey Hope”

“Hey Harry what is up?”

“I was just wondering if you are ok?”

“ya I am fine why?”

“You just ran off once you met the guys and you looked worried about something.”

“Ya sorry about that there is a reason behind that but I am not willing to talk about it over the phone.”

“Can I come over and we can talk about it?”

“Ya sure see you in a bit.”

End call

After I hung up I went down stairs and waited for Harry. After a while there was a knock on the door. “It opens.” I yelled not wanting to get up. “Hope you here?” I heard Harry ask. “Ya in here.” “Hey Hope.” Hey Harry so what is up?”

“I know who you really are Hope.”  I was not expecting that. “What do you mean Harry?” “I mean I know your real name is Star and that you and Liam were best friends.” “I don’t know what you mean Harry my name is Hope.” “Don’t lie to me Hope.” “Fine yes I’m Star. But how did you find out?” “Liam.” “Liam what do you mean Liam he does not know.”

“After you ran off we went to Liam’s and he told us of his best friend he had and how y’all lost touch. Then he showed us a picture he has framed. Once I saw the picture I knew it was you right away.” “We did not lose touch he stopped taking my calls. How did you know it was me in the picture? I changed the way I looked so I would not be noticed.” “Because the picture is the same one you have right here.”

Harry then picked up the picture and handed it to me. I looked at the picture for a minute and smiled. “He ... he has this framed in his house?” “Yes he does. The first time we saw it and asked who it was a picture of he would just say “The one that got away.” And he would not say anything else about it until today.”

 I did not know what to say so I just sat there. After a while I spoke up “you did not say anything about knowing it was me to him did you?” “No I did not I just got up and left and called you. Why don’t you want him to know?” “Because I can’t go through the pain of possibly losing him again. The day he told me about the x-factor I was going to tell him that I liked him more than a friend, but I couldn’t because he was leaving. He promised that he would always call or text me and at first he did then he broke the promise and that hurt. I can’t go through that again.”

“Star, by the way he was talking about you I can tell he would never do that again. If you liked him so much why don’t you have any pictures of him?” “I do I  have them hanging up but once I found out you know him I moved them. Come on I’ll show you.” I took his hand and lead him to my room. “See.” “wow how have I never seen these?” “Probably because you never had a reason to come in my room.”

Harry was just looking at the pictures when his phone went off he saw it was Louis and put it on speaker. “Hello.”

 “Harry where are you?”

“Oh hey Louis” harry then looked at as if asking if it was ok to say he was here. I just knotted as if to say go ahead.

“I’m at Hope’s house.”

“Oh why did you run out like that?”

“There was something I had to do.”

“Ok when are you coming back you can bring Hope.” Harry looked at me and I whispered than they can come over here.

“Hey why don’t you guys come over to Hope’s?”

“Is that ok with her?”

“Yes Louis y’all can come over.” I said breaking my silent.

“Oh hey Hope.”

“Hi Louis.”

“We will be over soon.”

“Ok Harry will texted you the address bye.”

With that said harry hung up and texted the address to Louis.

“Are you sure about this you will see Liam?” “Ya I am sure just help me hide the pictures of me and my family.” “Ok let’s do it.” We then hide all the picture and waited for the guys to show up.
