My family and I where driving down the road to our house during a thunderstorm. My twin brothers where joking around and laughing while my mom and dad held hands in the front. I just sat there and listened to my ipod. The next thing i knew was dad swerving to not hit something and the car slamming into trees. Then everything went dark.
I open my eyes to see darkness. I then hear the door open and i smell an amazing scent. "I see your awake." A male voice says and i look in the direction of the voice. "Wh..who are you? Where am i?" I start to panic and i feel him sit at the bottom of the bed. He rests a hand on my leg and it sends tingles throughout my body. "My name is Dimitri Belikov. You are in my house, I saw the crash and tried to save your family....but it was to late. I could only save you." I hint an Irish accent to his words but don't ask. "How am i alive? The last thing i remember was being surrounded by fire...why can't i see anything?"
I feel him stiffin beside me at the last thing i said. "I'm sorry but i am trying everything i can to get your sight back." I feel a tear slip down my cheek but quickly wipe it away. I can hear everything so clear and i can sense the objects in the room even him. "What smells so good?" I ask as i sniff the air. I hear him chuckle and it was music to my ears. "I will be right back." I sense him leave and feel empty so i get up from the bed and walk to where i think the door is. I feel the doorknob and open it. I sniff the air and i can still smell his scent so i follow it to what i think is the kitchen.
"How did you find your way here?" I hear him ask with shock and worry in his voice but i could tell he was trying to hide both. "I...followed your...scent." I said sniffing the air again. "Looks like your senses are forming...I have to tell you something important and you must not freakout...ok?" I nod my head and start listening. "I am a vampire and a prince. Only Vampire Royals can turn a human into a vampire and that is what i did to you." I tried to take all this in and i just stood there for a minute. "I...am a vampire?" i ask softly. I feel him shift uncomfortablely. "Yes. You are."
I didn't scream or run away like most would. I just nodded accepting reality. I learned a long time ago you can't run from life. "Ok...so what are the rules..." He starts saying how i can't go out in the sun or drink human blood...ect. "Ok sounds easy enough." I sense him smirking. "Why are you smirking?" I asked confused. "I expected you to be more afraid." I laughed and i swear he thought i was going crazy. "Why would i be scared? Its not like you would hurt me." I hear him chuckle and he takes my hand and leads me to a room. "You will share a room with me because i don't need you trying to sneak out."
I stopped dead in my tracks. "Please tell me we don't sleep in coffins...." He laughs at my question. "No we dont thats only a myth. Now come on it's nearly sunrise and im tired. You can use these to sleep in." I take the clothes and he leads me to the bathroom and i change into the clothes feeling for the tags to make sure i don't put them on backwards. I walk back out and feel my way to the bed and feel him grab my hand guideing me. I feel for my pillow and plop down earning a chuckle from Dimitri.
I sense him reading a book and smiling. "Whats got you so happy, Dimitri?" I ask burying my face in my pillow. "Oh just thinking about how i haven't shared my bed with a woman in decades..." I feel my face heat up at his words and i throw my pillow at his face. I sense him easily catch the pillow so i burry my face in the covers. "I was joking Annabear!" I hear him laugh and i melt on the inside at the nickname. "I wanna know what you look like." I state and i feel him shift closer and grab my wrists.
He places my hands on his face and i start to explore. I feel his face and then move down to his strong shoulders and arms, his six pack, then to the v-line. His hands grab mine lightly stopping me from going further. He simply whispers three words. "Time for bed." I crawl off of his lap and into my spot laying down. I fall asleep wondering what have i gotten myself in to.
