The sky was dark and grey, a storm was predicted to hit an hour after dusk, but it was still dawn, the sun had fully emerged from the horizon, and then she disappeared again behind the clouds.

They begun getting ready, taking showers and combing their hair. Ariana was sat on the floor, a close family friend, Rosalie, was curling the ends of her hair. She had no strength to do it herself.

"Rose, can you do the half-up thing like you always used to do?" She quietly asks.

"Of course, I'll even add a braid." She smiles. Rose knew it was her favourite.

Harry was with the other boys, because Niall had no idea how suits worked and they wouldn't allow him to eat in it without a towel covering him. Harry had not yet even done his tie, let alone even try and bother with his hair. It's gotten so long, it's hard to manage all of the curls, he flings it up in a bun most days. Today, he couldn't do that. He wanted to look nice and presentable, he wanted to change it.

It was a last minute, spur of the moment thing, but he asks  Zayn anyways.

"You want me to what?" His eyes are wide and he's not sure Harry's right in the head.

"Just do it, you do it all the time to yourself!"

"Yeah! But that's me and MY head!"

After a while of bantering, her finally does it, he cuts the right right above he pony tail he made, and then starts to trim up the rest, and before you know it his hair is back to short and the rest is in a bag.

She slips on her dress and then her sweater, putting her pink toes into black heels, doing one last check before walking to the boys room.

Before making it to the door, Ariana goes to her bag from the trip, and grabs the Polaroid picture of Alaska and her and studies it for a minute, looking up when Rosalie enters the room.

"Are you ready?" Rose asks.

"Ready as I'll ever be." She responds, holding the Polaroid to her chest.

They walk out of the room, and down the hall to the boys.

She knocks on the door twice, before Liam opens it.

"Are you guys ready?" She quietly asks as she steps into the room.

They were all dressed so nice, and Ariana lost her breath when she noticed that all of the boys had pinned the letter "A" to the left side of their suits; just above their hearts. She slowly walked to Liam and gentle grazed it with her fingers.

She held back a cry as she asks where Harry is.

"He and Zayn are in the bathroom right now, he's helping H with something but they'll be out soon."

She nods and then smiles at them all.

"You all look nice, thank you for doing this." She offers a gentle smile.

Niall smiles back, "'Course. She meant a lot to you, and to us. We're going to honour her today, and she's going to smile at us all."

A tear escapes and then Louis steps forward, grabbing Ariana's hands and holding them to his chest, giving a kiss on the knuckles.

"She is at peace now, Ari. I want you to never forget that. And I know you would have wanted her to be at peace here, with you, with us; but she couldn't be. But, she's with you. Always. Okay, my love? She's okay, and we, too, will be okay someday."

It was at that point they couldn't hold it in any longer. They were all gently sobbing with the occasional heartbreaking sounds coming out. Louis held her until Harry and Zayn came into the room, at which he picked her up and sat in a chair with her.
