Rex at the top
Running into the land of the most feared alpha in the entire western territory wasn't Rex's best idea he's ever had.
_______________________________My bike wheels spun to a stop as a large man stood it in its track. I had two choices run now and live, or stay and die. I chose the first so I hopped off the bike and ran as fast as I could, discarding my helmet. The man took chase but I soon lost him, But I soon realised I had made a mistake when I heard another yell.
"Alpha catch that man" he yelled as the alphas eyes snapped to me, he was the man from before and he didn't look happy.
'Mate' Max growled as the man looked up at us.
"Oh come the fuck on..." I groaned as I turned tail and ran. I was lost within seconds and soon the alpha stood in front of me. He growled at me dragging me into a large house, or a mansion depending on your price bracket."This won't harm a human" the doctor said in between his deep shallow breaths, he held the syringe tight in his hand.
"And I am telling you, it will harm me..." he shook his head in disbelief and came closer. There was no way I was getting out of the alphas grip without magic.
"Dimittas" I said and then syringe fell from his hand and smashed on the floor. I couldn't fight my way out of his grip not without harming him."For the last damn time, I'm not human!" I hissed at him.
"Oh" the doctor said as he began to regain his breath.
"Oh! Oh is all you have to say when your ignorance nearly killed me" I yelled, my anger began to boil. The magic began to course through my veins turning them back but luckily no one didn't notice.
"Leave us" the alpha growled. He turned me around to face me but remained silent.
"Yes, can I help you" I spat sarcastically
"That's your bike in my garage" he looked blankly at me as if I was supposed to magically understand what he meant."What about it" I questioned with a blank look on my face.
"It put my beta in the hospital" he growled as his grip tightened. I hissed under my breath in pain, mate or not he was pushing my patience.
"He shouldn't have put his hands on my bike." I growled at him. His eyes shifted to a darker colour as he was cutting off the blood supply to my arms, I struggled against him but he didn't move. His wolf had taken over. So I'd have to shock the human back. So I kicked him straight in the Crown Jewels. He groaned as he slumped over, his grip became lighter.
"Humans talk, beasts fight. I want to talk" I said to him as he composed himself and stood up off the floor. He roared at me, his wolf was not letting go that easily. He rushed at me, within seconds he had me pined. But instead of throat ripping alpha, I was met with a cute fuzzy puppy-dog. He rubbed his face into my neck and clung to be like a baby koala.
"Well it seems you know who I am" I said quietly but his wolf just whined when I lifted my hands away from him. Even for a love struck alpha his wolf is acting way too much like a young pup. I help the alpha off the floor and dragged him to the doctor, he clung to me the whole way. I walked in to see the doctor with his back turned. The doctor sniffed the air as we entered.
"Ah alpha I have a fe—" he turned around mid sentence. He walked quickly towards us and dragged us into a separate room, he growled and nipped at the doctor when he got too close. Like a jealous puppy would act with his favourite toy. I couldn't help but chuckle."I take it you know he's your mate" he said as he moved slowly towards us.
"Yeah" I smile, he really wasn't so bad. The doctor barely glanced at him and he already knew what had happened to the man.
"This reversal to his younger self is only because he neglected his wolfs need to find you, it is only temporary" he explained as he held up another syringe. What is it with this man and his needles.
I nodded as I took the syringe and slowly pricked his skin, the liquid flowed into his veins. His movements faltered and he fell asleep. Damn that is so cute.
"He will not be like this when he wakes up" he speaks softly with a hint of sadness in his voice."I am aware of that" I say as I look down at his peaceful features. I shake my head as I think of how the pain of having to leave would tear anyone apart and I wouldn't wish the loss of a mate on even my worst enemy.
"You'll not be leaving anytime soon, as my assistant you'll have to stay here " he smiles. I look at him in disbelief.
"Really?" Was all I could manage to stutter.
"The pack will not accept you straight away, but neither will he. You are an outsider" his voice remained calm. I was about to reply when he began to stir.
"He won't remember any of this right?" I question as I looked at him.
"His wolf will not allow the human side to harm you so he will most likely not tell him" he smiles as he glances between the two of us.
"I will leave you...." I paused I didn't know the mans name.
"Zen, And you?"
"Rex" I murmured as I slipped out of the room. I leaned against the wall and slowly slid down it, the past few hours being too much to handle. With my head in my hands I knew going home way pointless, running was pointless but staying...
