His wolf however was not so happy and took control. This is either a very good sign or a horribly bad one.

"Hello" he smirked as he dropped me on the bed, he looked like he was gonna pounce but all I was met with was a giant fluff ball, he kept nudging me until I was lying down.
"What are you doing" I said confused as I laid down with my hands up, his eyes changed back to a normal colour.
I was met with a very warm and very much human alpha on my lap.
"What the hell" I said as he looked up at me, tingling shot up my side and I had to bite my tongue so I wouldn't let out a whine.

I jumped up trying to avoid him, this man doesn't even know my name let alone that we're mates.
"Well excuse me" I said as I ran out of the room, my heart rate was through the roof but I had to control it or my magic would would knock me out.
Outside, outside is a good idea I thought to myself as I climbed the nearest tree I could find , it was dark and soon I was comfortable enough to catch some sleep. The next morning however was not so comfortable as I stretched out and it felt like I'd been hit by a train.

My head quickly snapped to attention when I heard yelling and grunting from bellow me, I glanced down to see them fighting. Or maybe training. The beta stood against the tree so I made my way down to the lowest branch and hung off it.
"Morning" I said quietly as the man jumped a little.
"Good morning witch" he said as I hopped down, I cringed at the name he gave me.
"I'm Rex by the way" I held out my hand and the man shook it.
"Lazarus" he said. He stood a good few inches above me and he looked like he could take up an entire door way.

"What's going on?" I asked as I turned my attention back to the field of men and wolves fighting.
"Morning training" he pointed to the alpha who seemed in an even worse mood than yesterday, he slammed a poor boy into the man repeatedly. I winced as the boy began to bleed from various cuts.
"I don't know what you did to him yesterday but he seems in an even worse mood" he said as he patted me on the shoulder, rejoining the pack. I stood for a few seconds as I glanced over the pack, is this what family is?

I was drawn from my own world by a snapping noise and a cry that ripped through the air, I glanced up to see the boy clutching his side. The alpha went to pick him up again, until I stepped in.
"Stop! Your may not step in but I will" I yelled at him as I attended to the boys wounds. The alpha took a step forward and I pushed him back. At least two of the boys ribs were definitely broken, I cast a healing spell. I stood up in anger.
"Did none of you hear him scream, or the shape of his ribs!" I quickly turned to the alpha "You teach your men how to fight but not how to be compassionate" the alpha bit his tongue and growled back at me.
"On the battlefield you don't need compassion" he went to continue until I cut him off.
"This is not a battlefield, this is your FAMILY!" I screamed at him, I helped the boy up and took him to the infirmary.

The boy was staring at me the entire way, even when I set him down on one of the beds.
"That was amazing" he said as he stared at me with wide eyes. I just shook my head.
"Ah back so soon Rex" he said as he came out of his office.
"Oh Kai" he stoped and looked at me for and explication.
"I have set his ribs and healed his smaller wounds" I said pointing to the boy, I sat beside him and watched Zen set out healing him with various ointments and drugs. I thought it safer to remain in here because the alpha would not take so kindly to someone challenging him in front of his entire pack. Soon I received the news I had feared.

'The alphas looking for you'  Bella called to me. I groaned and left the boy to recover.
'Where is he?' I asked her, as I headed outside some member smiled at me.
'Outside but he's alone. Unless you want to die with no witnesses' she laughed at me.
'Your so funny but you know he won't kill me' I said as I headed out of the back door.
'No his wolf won't kill you' She said to me as I opened the black door. I opened the door to see no one there, I was confused, where was the alpha.
'Bella where is he?' I asked, she did not reply immediately.
'It seems the young pups have held him up, go and look at the front of the house' I waltzed to the front of the house to see all kinds of young kids clinging to the man. One was on his shoulders, two clung to each arms and three or four of the little monsters clung to his feet.

"Please, please" one of them pleaded with him, he sighed and seemed to give up.
"Fine but only this once" they let go and stood back, I was about to turn and leave but my curiosity got the best of me. He stood with his feet apart and clenched his hands, there was a confidence about him. I was stuck the curiosity had completely taken hold.
'What is he doing' Bella asked me and I honestly had no answer for her. The pups seemed excited at the very idea he was going to do something. What is he going to do...
