Chapter 2-Leo

Their eyes met, and he had the most beautiful eyes, so blue. She quickly looked away, but not before she had seen his grin.

He left but a few minutes later he came back and sat next to her, his name tag read Leo.

He held his hand out, and she shook it, with so much force, and she blushed. The gods themselves chiseled this man, with beautiful sky blue eyes, dark hair, and a body that.................

"What do you think?"

Hailey felt butterflies in her stomach but they were not from the nervousness but from something else.

He had caught her scanning his body, how she wished she could hide.

This was the first time that she really wanted a man, and was shocked that someone whom she met for the first time could make her feel this way.

She had one ex-boyfriend as education was the main focus, but he never made her feel this way.

"Sorry, what was your question?"

"So you have a boyfriend?"

She looked at him, "No.....not at all."

She stuttered, what was wrong with her?

He grinned, "I love that."

His voice was sultry, and it was mixed with a bit of passion. He tucked in a hair strand that had fallen loose.

"Thank you."

A worker showed up, "Miss Hartfield, the boss is running a bit late but he will be here in about ten minutes."

"Okay, no problem at all."

"You seem way too nervous."

"It's just that......................."

She could not finish her sentence when she had dropped her book, Hailey leaned down at the same time as Leo.

Their hands touched, she looked at him and so did he, and didn't let go of her hand, this man knew what he was about.

She carried on taking the book and sat up straight, the touch was electric, and her body was responding to him.

"What do you want to accomplish?"

"I want to work my way up, I have never had much but I can now change that, without parents and all."

Hailey wondered why was she telling him all these things, those were her private thoughts but this man would be her undoing.

"Me too."

"Sorry."

"Everything you said."

Hailey wanted to comfort him,

"So what do you think about the boss?"

"Well I heard that he is rarely seen, mysterious, and very much emotionless, and he only demands perfection."

"And where did you get all that from?"

"People talk, and I did my research, everything that was on there shows that he is ruthless."

He chuckled, "Really?"

When he did that, she looked at his mouth, his smile was captivating, and she closed her eyes.

Thank goodness the employee came to them, "Boss, we moved the meeting back."

The employee also gave him a blazer, and a tie and he took off his glasses then removed the name tag,

Hailey's eyes widened and she froze.
