A week has passed since we arrived in Agrabah and all we've done is talk to every living soul about traveling across realms, only to come up empty-handed. Knowing that the answer to getting back to Storybrooke doesn't lie in this land, Killian, my group, and I decide that heading back to the Enchanted Forest is our best bet. After borrowing a small ship from the princess, the seven of us sail back to the mainland in hopes of finding someone to help us get back to our family.
As soon as we dock at one of the ports in the Enchanted Forest, Killian ties the small boat to one of the posts then tells us to stay put before heading to the nearby pub. While we wait for the pirate captain to return, I take in our surroundings as I try to determine why this port feels so familiar. Once my eyes land on a passerby dressed in pirate attire, my whole body runs cold before I turn my attention back to the five others on the boat.
"I know why Killian wanted to come here so badly," I state, drawing all their curious eyes to me before mine land on Sam, "who's the one pirate captain that Killian always complained about?"
A short moment passed of the boy thinking over my question before Sam's eyes fill with realization. Panic fills his eyes as he gets to his feet, causing the boat rocks so fast that it almost tips over. While he has an internal crisis, everyone else on the small ship continues to watch the two of us with curiosity in their eyes as they wait for an explanation.
"Do you really think Killian went to talk to him?" Sam questions with a hint of worry in his voice, "the last time I saw those two together, a war almost broke out."
"Are you two gonna tell us who you're talking about?" Austin asks, causing Sam and me to break our attention away from one another to look at the others.
"Blackbeard."
After quickly explaining the history between Killian and Blackbeard to the four, Austin and Felix stay in the boat with Roland while Katherine, Sam, and I make our way to the pub where Killian disappeared into. As soon as we get inside, we find the pirate captain making his way towards one of the tables before my eyes land on the man who caused Killian nothing but trouble. Without thinking twice, the three of us make our way over to the raven-haired man before I grab his wrist and pull him back a bit.
"I told you to stay back at the docks," Killian sighs as soon as he lays his eyes on the three of us, "I don't need back up for this."
"Are you crazy?" I hiss as I glance over at Blackbeard, who still hasn't noticed our presence, before my attention lands back on the pirate captain
"You're really gonna make a deal with that man?" Sam adds as he crosses his arms over his chest, "after everything he did to us after we were stuck in the Enchanted Forest?"
"And without backup?" Katherine scoffs while shaking her head and muttering something under her breath before looking back up at Killian, "I might not know a lot about this Blackbeard but I know enough to know that's reckless."
"I can handle this on my own," the blue-eyed man states as my grip on his wrist tightens, "but if you three must act as my bodyguards, that's fine by me. Let's just get this over with."
After rolling my eyes at the man one last time, I release my hold on the man before the three of us follow him towards the table where Blackbeard is playing cards. As soon as we reach the men, Sam, Katherine, and I stand back a few feet while Killian takes a pouch out of his pocket before pouring its contents in the center of the table.
