INCAPACITATED
Pt. 1She drowned deep in her melancholic thoughts after he left her for someone better, the way she wanted him to.
But she did not know that he would oblige this easily.
She did not know that he would do it so spontaneously.
Moreover, she did not know that it would hurt that much
.To see his protective arms hold someone else the way they used to hold her
To see the affection, love and gentleness his eyes held for that someone else, which sadly is not her anymore
To see his lips touch that someone else ever so gracefully, the way they used to touch hers.
She thought, if she left, he would come after her.
She thought when she spoke those last words, he would hold her in his arms and tell her that she is the only one he wants and that she might think that she is the worst choice anyone could make but, for him, she is the best thing that has happened to him.
But he just stood still in the corner of their shared room, uninfluenced and unaffected. He just stood there staring at his feet with emotionless eyes.
He just stood there doing nothing.
At that moment her doubt about herself being unworthy was undeniable and confirmed.
Not that he said it himself,
But at that moment,
His Actions spoke more than the him, himself.-Manya Jain
