Taro's head hung low as tears spilled from his eyes, once a bright gray was now a faded black with little to no shine, he was losing grip of his spark. His sanity was slowly draining and his heart was aching more than anything right now. "Where is Osana? Is Hanako okay? Are my parents worried?" All of these thoughts raced through his head, snot running down his lip and over the rag used to keep him quiet. He had been down here for god knows how long. Though it was only a few days or so, it felt like years to him. His hair was sweaty and matted, some cut off and the rest decorating his head in patches. Yandere-Kun stared down at him with a disdainful, yet satisfied expression. "Well, Taro, I have to go, unfortunately." Ayono cleaned off his hands with a damp towel that was soon thrown into one of the cardboard boxes that littered the basement. "I have a date with precious little Osana..."
Taro twitched at his words, his head looking as if it were about to tilt upward and face the man in front of him, but fear of being beaten down once more kept it from moving any further. "Don't miss me too much Yamada-san, I'll be back soon enough.~" With that, and a devious smirk, he left Senpai in the basement to simmer in his own thoughts... And blood. Soon, Yandere Kun told himself, he would be the only senpai in Osana's life.
Soon.
--Yandere Kun's POV--
I casually made my way to Osana's place with a smile on my face. I was wearing a blue varsity jacket and a white shirt, some jeans and blue chucks to match. I decided to go casual since there were no parents around to impress, hope she won't mind... The last thing I'd want to do is disappoint her, I know how picky my princess can be. I checked my phone for messages from Info Kun. Nothing, for now, only the log between our last "exchange." Soon enough, I arrived at her house. My face brightened at the mere sight of her door. Just knowing that she was in there, waiting for me... That's a feeling I could die for. My fingers grazed across the knob, wondering how many times her hands have touched this thing... It's like I could just--
I jumped slightly as Osana had opened the door, an impatient look on her face. "God, Ayono, you're so weird! Is it that hard to open a door? You've been standing out here for 5 minutes just staring at the knob like a creep!" I chuckled as calmly as I could. "And you were watching me the whole time?" She opened her mouth to say something but promptly closed it. "Wh-Whatever, just let me get my jacket right quick..." She turned to go back inside but I quickly grabbed her wrist. "No worries, you can just use mine." She rolled her eyes as I offered it, snatching it from my hand and putting it on. Dear god, just seeing her like that... In my jacket, in my grasp, soon to be in my house... It was hard to contain myself...
"Qu-Quit staring! Let's just go already!" Oh, and the way she puffed her cheeks and stomped her feet..! My heart swelled... And I could agree that I was getting anxious to leave as well. I took her hand in mine, her cheeks swirled a rose red as we went on our path. "Where are we going anyways?" I kept my eyes straight ahead, though it was hard not to gawk at the perfect woman beside me. "Someplace special... It's a surprise." I looked at her from the corner of my eye, sensing her worry. "I promise, you'll love it." Well, hopefully, she would grow to love it. If not, oh well.
--Taro's POV--
I was sobbing again, how pitiful of me... These past few days--or maybe weeks-- has taught me a lot. So many things in this world are awful, so many people... I used to be a normal kid, living a normal life, normal family, what did I do, what did I do...? I had managed to loosen the rag and move it from my mouth. I began hyperventilating, soon screaming just so I could hear my own voice again. I was starting to forget it. And then I laughed hysterically, just the simple relief of talking--even if it was to no one-- just made me uncontrollably happy. I began to wriggle in my chair violently, desperately trying to escape. Of course, my wrists were scarred over from many times of trying, but it couldn't hurt to try again... He always tightened these ropes after every attempt though...
Without thinking I had flung myself backward, still stuck in this chair... I was about to give up but I saw something glimmer in a box laying on its side... A boxcutter. Ayono was smart, but apparently not that smart. I managed to scootch over there, forcing my body to help propel the chair further before getting within tongue distance of the thing. I stretched it out and pulled it closer, straining the muscles in my mouth. They say the body has superhuman strength in life or death situations, so hopefully, the heralds of a nearby shrine will lend me their power. "This is all so surreal..." I thought aloud through the boxcutter in my mouth. Only a month ago I could never even dream something like this could happen to me... And who knows what he's planning to do with Osana... I managed to lean down and rub the blade against the ties on my wrist.
I decided it would be best not to talk while doing this, or else I risk letting my one chance at escape slip right from my hands... Er, mouth technically. I gasped slightly as I felt one of the ropes snap. I moved my head faster, faster, and then... My hand was free. I smiled triumphantly as I raised my arm up for the first time in a while, stretching it and admiring it high in the air..! But no time for that! I need to get the rest of myself free before it's too late for Osana... I'm her only hope right now, and I can't let someone like Ayono harm her!
I'm sick and tired of losing those around me... I can't lose her too.
--Yandere Kun's POV--
"What's so special about this dump anyway?"
"Ah, it's just a place from my childhood..." That was a lie, of course, but I couldn't reveal the real surprise just yet. "Oh... You come from a nice family Yan-Kun, why were you spending any time here?" She looked around curiously, her ponytails swishing with each turn of her head. Lying to a creature as cute as she felt strangely wrong, but I had to if we were going to be happy. "It was an escape from the modern world, you know? Busy with good grades, so many people, time away was relaxing..." I gazed into the old warehouse nearby, smiling to myself. "That was my secret hideout, you know." I gestured toward it, sparkles in my eyes.
"Really, that old thing?" She cocked her head to the side at me before studying the building briefly. "Anything in it?" I nodded. "From years ago, I'm sure." I got up from the rock I was sitting on and walked towards it, Osana expectantly following me. I opened up the doors, closing them and locking them behind me. "Hey, it's so dark in h--" She was silenced by the rag I had placed over her mouth, I felt her warm breath struggle to get past my hand, but to no avail. I felt her body struggle against mine before soon falling limp. "Shhh, shhh... It's okay, Osana, Yono's here..." I muttered into her ear, my smile blissful and calm.
All of the sudden, I received a call.
"Taro Yamada has escaped."
"..."
"I'm on my way."
