Hanji arrived, however there was no sight of Erwin. She gave me a quick smile before dragging Levi to the side to talk to him.
I couldn't quite tell what she was saying, but either way, I knew it wasn't good. Levi's expression became a sad one. The more she talked, the worse he looked. It hurt to see him like that; he was normally expressionless or stern.

When they'd finished, Hanji came over to me. She muttered a few words of comfort to me, but I was too focused on Levi to listen. He wouldn't look at me, and his posture suggested he was crying. I tried my best to sit up, but I was pushed back down by Hanji.

Moments later, Commander Erwin arrived. He glanced over at me, and then started speaking to Levi.
I was desperate to know what they were saying.

"Y/N." Hanji spoke, bringing me back to my senses, "Stop. Stop worrying about what their talking about. It doesn't matter."

I sulked. It did matter. Levi looked sad and was listening to Erwin. That never happened.

Something was going on, and I couldn't quite figure out what...
