The two superiors approach Levi and I, I knew what was coming.

Erwin grabbed Levi and dragged him away, struggling slightly as he did so.

"GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME YOU BASTARD!! WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?! LET ME HELP HER!! LET ME HELP Y/N-"

Those words were all Levi could yell until his voice went hoarse, and when he was far enough to not hear anything, Hanji knelt beside me and smiled sadly.

"Y/N, I'm pretty sure you already know but, Erwin and I decided-"

My throat hurt and I knew my voice was weak, but it was still enough to reply.

"I know. You and Erwin want me away from Levi. I understand."

Hanji sighed, she appeared just as displeased as I was.

"Well you cam speak now at least, but Y/N you okay? You said that more casually than I expected..."

"I get it, I'm a burden to Levi and the Survey Corps. Additionally me being around prevents Levi from doing his job, putting strain on the superiors and the average soldiers. I understand it perfectly well, I'm not as stupid as most think."

I could feel tears forming in my eyes, and I held them back as best as I could, but it didn't help in the slightest. Appearing weak to my friends was something I hated the most, but then again I already failed at being strong the moment I dragged that blade across my wrist. Ha, I guess I'm more pathetic than I thought.

Hanji sighed for a second time, her eyes widening every few seconds; she must've been taken aback by my sudden blunt statement.

"Y/N, I didn't mean it to sound like we were kicking you out of the corps, I just-"

I place my hand over Hanji's mouth to prevent her spewing any more.

"I know."

I say, but it came out as almost threatening, oops. Hanji giggled, unsure of how to reply.

"Haha, that was dark. Anyway, let's get you up... Are you okay with being carried on a badly built stretcher?"

She joked, trying to lighten the mood as best as possible.

I nod, unintentionally smiling a little.

A scout runs over as Hanji waves her hand to indicate the stretcher. The scout places the stretcher down next to me, and I slide over on to it.

"One, two, three!"

They chant in unison as they lift the stretcher together.

"Oh..! Hanji, about Levi-" I say suddenly, remembering how Erwin dragged him away on his ass not that long ago.

"Don't worry about him, he'll be fine. Ah, also you'll be staying in Petra's room instead of the infirmary. I know you didn't like it there last time, so Petra volunteered."

"Petra's? Why not Levi's- Oh yeah..."

"You'll be fine, you and Petra get along really well anyway."

'That's true, but I already miss Levi.'

"Mm, you're right. It's probably best to be with Petra..!"

Hanji nods in reply and smiles as well head into the building.

'But will Levi really be alright?'
