Three years have passes since graduating from Juilliard and that Miles and I have been working at the American Ballet Company. Both Miles and I have worked our way up to principal dancers and that we couldn't be happier with career wise.
Adam and Jenny married just over two years ago and they have a three year old daughter, Bella, and Jenny is currently seven months pregnant with their son, Gage. Jax and Tammy are getting married a year from now and they have a set of two and a half year old son's, Jaxson Jr. (J.J.) and Jordon, and Tammy is five months pregnant with their daughter, Taryn. Miles and Harris have adopted two children, their two year old son, Troy and their one year old daughter, Cassidy.
Harper and I have adopted all four of our beautiful children, all of my friends and my children are beautiful. We have our six year old daughter, Hadley, who we adopted four years ago shortly after we moved into our apartment. Then we our four year old son, Gavin, who we adopted as a newborn; and Harper insisted that we name after Gavin. Then we have our other two daughters, who are biological sisters, five year old Addley and three year old Mila. We adopted Addley and Mila when they were three years and one years old.
We had to move out of our apartment and into a six bedroom home. The spare bedroom is a guest bedroom for when my mom or Harper's parents visit. Jax, Adam and Miles and their families have also moved into their own homes recently. Miles and his family have moved in two blocks from us and Jax and Adam and their families are three blocks over from us. Even out of the apartment complex we still stay close, we're more than friends, we're one big family. Between the four families we alternate monthly who is hosting the other three families for dinner and quality family time and this month it's our turn.
Miles and I have a ballet in a month that we've been working our ass' off. Even after all these years, I still dance for Gavin, not only do I dance for my lost love, I dance for Harper and my children. I know Gavin is watching me with a smile from where ever he is.
Miles and I have another seven years of dancing if neither one of injure ourselves while dancing and we have passed this love onto our children. Miles has enrolled Troy and Cassidy in ballet and gymnastics classes and both are extremely talented in both. I've also enrolled Hadley, Gavin, Addley and Mila in both ballet and gymnastics, in the same classes as Miles' two children.
Life definitely turns out differently than anyone ever plans but when life throws a curve into a totally different direction that what you plan, roll with it because it's for the best. If my life hadn't taken the curve that it did those years ago, I wouldn't have the man that I love with all my heart or my four adorable children.
