Su Ju's POV

I walked onto the set,

everything was in slow motion.

Cameras are rolling.

Outfits and makeup are done.

Fake smile is on.

I'm ready.

Third Person's POV

"And here we are! Live with the award winning Korean boy band, EXO!"

*Clap Clap Clap*

"We are one. We are EXO."

"Wow! Its great to have you guys here, all the way in America! How was your trip so far?"

"Ah...good...good..." Jongdae said, plastering a smile on his face. The members broke into laughter, hearing his awkward English.

"So you guys just performed at the Olympics! That's a pretty big thing!"

"Oh yeah...big thing! Yea...so- big...(man)" Baekhyun awkwardly said.

"Yea...very big, thank you thank you." Chanyeol said.

"How was the experience?"

"Excuse me?"

"The experience? How was it?"

"Oh, it was...it was very..." Suho switched between Korean and English. "Very big, and grand."

"Yes, performing at such a large event was exhilarating." Su Ju said, nodding his head. His fake smile never faltered.

"It was an...honor to perform there." Baekhyun said.

"There were a lot of people." Chanyeol said.

"Everyone was really...loud." Junmyeon said.

"I've heard that something went wrong with the EXO wands, right? What's your response to the entire fiasco?"

The EXO members didn't know how to respond. They only understood parts of the sentence.

"We were all very sad." Su Ju said, speaking up. He regretted his choice. He should've just let them die of embarrassment. "But what happened, happened. We couldn't do anything about it, it was a technical error."

"Your English is very good, did you learn it yourself?" The interviewer asked.

"Yep. I studied English for a long time as a hobby. I'm pretty fluent, so it's kinda my job to help them out here." Su Ju said with a smile on his face.

It hurts.

It hurts to keep this damn fake smile on my face.

But it won't be fake for long.

"That's impressive! So anyways, did you watch the other performers?"

"Ah, we saw CL! Lee Chae-rin. And Mar-teen Gah-licks. (Martin Garrix)" Baekhyun answered.

"The DJ was.. so cool." Chanyeol said. The other members furiously nodded their heads.

"And the young guitarist was extraordinary. It really inspired and amazed us." Su Ju said.

"That's great news. You guys must've practiced a lot for this, no?"

"A lot." Jongin said.

"Yea, our feet hurt." Junmyeon joked.

"Practice...twenty-four seven." Minseok said.

"We had been preparing for this event for a very long time. It was very important to us." Su Ju said, nodding his head.
