I woke up in a room with lights shining in my face. I thought I was dead until I saw Linda in the corner crying her eyes out and Rome next to her with a sad look on his face.

Wait ..........ROME WAS HERE the finest and most popular boy in school Rome.....I must be dreaming.

"Hey, you're up "I looked around and saw Linda coming to my bed and smiling at me.

"Uh yea, Linda can you tell me why I am here?"

"Well, Rome found you in an alley by the school all beat up and took you here and called me. I called your mom but she said she doesn't care and feels good about you getting your ass beat."

I was glad that Rome had found me. If he hadn't found me who knows how long I would've been in that alley.I need to thank him later after I finish talking to Linda though. I was upset that my mother didn't care about what happened but I can't stand that bitch anyway.She can go to hell for all I care. I knew exactly who beat me though. It was my ex a.k.a my first love Marcus but it turns out he only wanted the cookie and when I didn't give it up he beat me.

"Oh ok but, can you go get me some water my throat is kinda dry," I said coughing a little.

"Yea boo, you know I got you. I'm going to see if I can find your nurse or doctor while I'm out. Rome, can you make sure that she doesn't try to get out of bed? I don't want her to hurt herself." I just mugged her. She's acting like I'm a little kid who can't handle herself.

"Yea Linda, I got you. I'll watch the little baby." He said looking up from his phone laughing. After Linda left out the room and closed the door I looked over at Rome.

"Um... Rome"

"Yea Shawty?"

"I wanna thank you for getting me from that alley.I don't know what else could've happened to me."

"No problem, just know that I'm not letting you walk to your car by yourself anymore." I blushed little. It seemed sweet that he would walk me to my car.

"You don't have to do that but ok," I said putting my head down.

"Hey pick your head up love, you're too beautiful for that."I blushed some more then looked at Rome like he had two heads.

"No, I'm not so please don't say that" Now Rome was looking at me like I had two heads.

"Everyone is beautiful in their own way whether they believe it or not. I mean what I say and I say what I mean so if I tell you that you're beautiful then you're most definitely beautiful." I didn't say anything else after that. I wish Linda would hurry up. As soon as I thought that Linda came in with my doctor and nurse.

"Hello Ms.Wright, how are you feeling ?"

" I'm ok, I'm just ready to get out of here."

"Alright, I'm your doctor Jake Carter and you can be released in a couple of days after we finish running some tests. You don't have any broken bones your left wrist is just fractured so make sure you don't do a lot of heavy lifting. We'll give you some medicine for the pain but that's about it. Do you have any questions ?"

" No" I honestly didn't care about my injuries. I just want to get the hell out of here. Every since my dad died I've never liked hospitals.

"Ok, I'll be back later to finish taking some more tests."

"Alright, thanks." After he left Rome said bye to me and Linda and I went back to sleep."
