Lauren was on her way home from rehearsal and couldn't wait to change into comfier clothes and spend time with her two favorite people, her boyfriend and daughter. As soon as she walked in the door she saw Joey and Diane sitting on the couch aimlessly watching some tv show. She greeted both of them excitedly and headed straight to her bedroom to change. She returned a few moments later and approached the couch about to sit down when Joey told her to sit closer to him. They had had such little alone time lately as they were working on Solve It Squad and Lauren on double duty in the Tempest.
"Jojo, I'm so tired. I just want to eat snacks and lay here forever." As she said this she plopped down next to him and swung her legs over his so she could lean against the side of the couch. As he went to put a hand on her leg, Diane darted straight for Lauren's legs and settled herself on Joey's lap between her legs. She really was their daughter, constantly having to be close to both parents at all times.
Diane looked up at Lauren as Joey was trying to explain something to her about the show and a few changes they were thinking of making, but she wasn't paying attention. She quickly grabbed her phone and snapped a picture.
"Lo. Lo? Lo! Are you even listening?" Joey questioned as he saw her on her phone. "Okay fine. No more work talk for today. Do you have anything you want to watch?"
The conversation continued until they finally agreed on something and once it was on Lauren fell asleep within 20 minutes with Diane on her stomach. Joey looked down at his 2 girls and smiled. This was too perfect of a moment for him to disrupt, so he quickly took a picture and went back to watching the tv.
