Chapter 7 Caroline's Back

    “Wake up, Esme please wake up.” Alice cried.

                Alice and Bella had been on the couch waiting for Esme to wake up. She had the ring on that if a human got killed by a vampire they would come back alive. Edward and Jasper hadn’t come home, they were out hunting; and didn’t know Esme was dead. Bella didn’t tell Edward she was becoming a vampire, but when she does he is going to be angry. 

Bella’s Pov

I’m sitting here feeling like a murderer, I’ve killed my mother in law and let the rest of the vampires to her. I can’t believe I actually let Rosalie turn me, what was I thinking? Wait till Edward knows he’s probably going to kill me and then Rosalie, because for one I didn’t get his permission. How could Emmett and James live with themselves? Eating humans, I thought it was easy and now I regret everything I thought wasn’t true. I don’t want to eat people, or any of that stuff. And now that I think about it, I didn’t even tell Alice how Rosalie turned me, how I died anything. We’ve been waiting for like almost 2 and a half hour now, waiting to see if Esme is still alive

Alice’s Pov

I’m waiting and waiting on when Esme is going to wake up, she has the ring. And she’s not waking up, it’s like if the ring ran out, or didn’t work.  When I met her in the woods she was standing in the direction the vampire territory is. And no wolf or anything ever, ever comes through our territory other than us. But Katherine seems like the bad tough type. Could she have compelled Emmet and James? Because I sure hell no that Emmett would never lay a finger on Esme, other than a hug. When I saw their faces their eyes were bold and black…. weird.  But she's a wolf not a vampire. Damon is still on my mind, why didn’t he tell me about Katherine? Were they in a close relationship? Why hasn’t Damon talked to me or been in the forest? Is he really using me? I had so many questions and it started making me emotional I just had to start thinking about something else. Emmett and James were locked up in our basement; there was vervain all over the walls, but very little.  I locked them up in there myself, because I didn’t want them to get under control and then do something else. I know that when Edward and Jasper comes it’s going to be a mess, but I’m not going to be here. I’m going to go talk to Damon and see what he is up to, and his ex- girlfriend Katherine.

Damon was in the Mystic Falls he was talking to Stefan.

“So what’s up with you and Alice?” Stefan asked.

“I don’t know, since Katherine’s been around I don’t feel the same way about her. I mean I still love her it's just that with Katherine being here I feel like she's watching my every move.” Damon said.

“Damon, don’t let Katherine get to your head do you hear me?” Stefan said.

“Why so you can take her away from me again?” Damon said getting angry.

“Actually I didn’t take anybody away from you she came to you for me.” Stefan said.

Damon got up and punched Stefan in his face; Stefan fell on the floor with blood coming out of his nose. Damon stood frozen he didn’t know what had overcome of him, his face turned red and his eyes were getting watery. Stefan got up slowly, looking at Damon he never saw him cry before.

“You knew I loved her, you knew that I would do anything for her without being forced. You didn’t do anything for her from the heart because you didn’t really love her. And now it’s your entire fault that I’m like this.” Damon said thrusting his fist making marks appear.

“My fault, is it my fault that Katherine has feelings for me and not you? No.” He answered himself. “How you are today is your own control not mines.”
