You taught me how to smile when I forgot how to live,
You showed me how to laugh when Death was all I wished..
You helped me build when others helped me shatter
You kept me together when they wanted me to scatter
And when I asked you to tell me about you is the day I speak to a self of mine I never met before..
A self of mine I was unaware of..
A self of mine I never knew existed
A piece of me you couldn't take..
A part of me even I couldn't give..
