Dear diary

today is my first official doctors appointment for the baby , and I know it's crazy but I'm really nervous. Mostly it's because i haven't told dre yet so..... yea. But rays also taking me and things get awkward when we're alone. I just hope this goes well and I hope that i get the guts to tell dre.. like really soon. We'll I have to get ready so Ttyl ( write to you later)

By the time I did my hygiene got dressed and did my hair I had an hour before I had to leave so naturally I called Lisha.

" Nia you ready to go?" " Ray yelled

" yeah I'm ready " i say heading to the car

the ride to the doctor was silent. I didn't want to say anything and make things more awkward between us but I guess ray was not thinking the same thing.

" You know I always wanted to be a Dad and a Grandpa, now I get to be both I think it's pretty cool." Ray said breaking the silence

" Yeah having a baby you didn't want or plan for at 16 yeah its pretty cool". I said adding extra sarcasm in my voice."

" C' Mon you know I didn't mean it like that nia."

" Then why did you say it." I Snapped

" I'm just trying to make some positive out of the situation."Ray shrugged.

" There is no positive to make out of this situation."

" When you grow up did you want to be a mother ?" Ray asked

" Yea more than anything."

" Well your getting your wish earlier than expected thats all."

" I'm 16 ray there's more to it now then when I'm like 30 or something?"

" Like what ?"

"What about college?"

" Well we will find a really good daycare to take care of the baby while I'm at work and afterwards I'll take care of him or her."

" What about the rest of this school year ?"

" You can start online school whenever you want."

" Ok what about after college ?"

" I'll support you and the baby untill you get a job and move out ."

" You would do that ?"

" Yeah I mean you being my daughter and all I want to take care of you and my grandchild".

I gave ray a small smile in response the rest of the ride was silent.
