Oh Crap

- 2 weeks later-

- nias championship soccer game -

A trainer was looking over Leah our starting center on offense.

" She's done her ankles dislocated I would pop it back in but it's to swollen"

" Alright Nia your going to have to play center" my coached said plainly

" say what now"  I said shocked.

" you heard me your backup for center Leah ' s hurt so your center.

" But I can't play ( gco)".

" Just listen, we have 90 seconds left all you have to do is take it to the 40 and pass it to lisha and she'll score ok'

" um ok" I said nervously.

we lined up and I began to take it down the 40. Once i got there i saw everyone was covered including lisha.

" keep going straight down nia straight down! " my coach yelled.

I took it down the feild to the 10 a defender was charging at me so I kicked it as hard as I could before getting pinned down by a defender.

apparently the ball went it because before I knew it I was lifted up by my teammates as they chanted "MVP MVP MVP!"

After the insane party at the school I went home with lisha.

" ni ni that was amazing what you did today, your going to get scholarships after that game did you see all the scouts there. "

" Yea alot talked to me "

" Luckyy"

" Nah you got any food I'm starved "

" Mom made fried fish last night  want some?"

" Yess your mom makes the best fried fish".

" ight I'll warm it up "

As lisha warmed my food up I started feeling more and more nauseous.But I decided to ignore it.

When I took one bite of the fish I instantly ran to the bathroom and started throwing up. lisha held my hair and rubbed my back.

" girl are you ok?" she asked when I finally stopped

" Noo " I cried

I layed on the couch and took the medicine her mom gave me.

" this is like the third time I've thrown up this week" I told lisha as we started to watch TV.

" Nia did you and dre ever... you know "

" No why "

" I'm just asking it's not a virus or the stomach flu there's only so many things it could be".

" Do you have a test I asked".

" Yea you wanna take it "

" might as well"

" ok here " lisha said handing it to me.

I went to the bathroom to take the test. I wasn't nervous at all so I waited panicently.

After 3 short minutes I looked at the stick.

I freaked out and took the test again 3 more times

I just stood there shocked as serval questions went through my head.

how could this happen

what will dre say

what will ray say

what is everyone at school gonna say

what about college

I didn't realize how long I stood in that one spot until lisha came in and looked at the test. that's when I broke down.

"Shh it's gonna be ok nia everything's going to be ok don't cry."  lisha said as I cried on her shoulder.

"Andres going to leave me and Rays going to kick me out of the house What am I going to do"

" first your going to relax second your going to tell them then we'll go from there ok."

" ok " I said wiping my tears.
