Pouring Rain. Wet grass and mud.
Beyond that was an overbearing silence.

It wasn't her fault. It wasn't her fault he was dead or was it? She had been the one to kill him so maybe it was her fault. Then again it's not like the bastard gave her any choice in the matter that night, it was kill or be killed. He was angry, hurting and ready to kill her. So in an act of self defense she killed him. So why did she feel the way she felt currently? She felt miserable as she kneeled here in front of the still fresh grave. Her eyes staring blankly at the gravestone numb to the cold rain hitting her skin and the wetness of now damp grass and dirt seeping in through her pants. The funeral had been nice enough despite everything. Despite the fact she now wanted to curl up and die. Despite the fact she felt like she was hated by the people that were loved by the now dead shark faunas the most. She hated seeing the looks of his best friend Damian and his little sister Roisin.

Damian was angry at her but she suspects that was more because of his last remaining teammate was now dead. His best friend was dead. He understood why she did what she did, hell he even told her not to blame herself and to talk to him if she needed someone to talk to about..all of this. That was a few hours ago. She still remembers the look in his eyes; eyes that were usually vibrant and joyous that were a dark blue. Almost as dark as the sea were now dull and filled with grief. Though those eyes didn't compare to the ones of Roisin. She had never truly met the younger girl instead having seen the occasional picture of her through Negs. She seemed to be a lovely, lively and happy girl, but now it seemed her world had been crushed. Capreila wept for the poor girl knowing she was the reason her world seemed so bleak. She had been the one to kill her beloved older brother after all.

Today after the funeral had ended Roisin gave her a passing glance before leaving and in that moment Capreila had never hated herself more. She didn't want to kill Negs but what other choice did he give her? Either let him kill Stephanie or stop him. She made a choice a hard choice but in the end she didn't have many options. He was a superior fighter, he had more experience, he knew her moves. So in a moment of brief distraction with their auras already so low she used her semblance; crushing him under the intense gravity until..until..damn it she still loved him. She cared for him! She didn't want it to end that but he was going to hurt people. Hurt someone she cared about.

Mismatched eyes stared out at a gravestone as rain pelted the area. The smell of wet grass and mud filling her nose. Capreila stood and began to leave after uttering a faint goodbye wondering if the red haired bastard was happy about how this all turned out.

(Woo. Back from a brief hiatus. Sorry about that. Senior year of high school and all. Uhh Negs, Damian, and Roisin belong to my That_1_Bi_Chick and everyone else is mind.)
