Violet's POV

We now traveled to the Death Room with Kid, Patty and Liz added to our party. Tsubaki went to the infirmary to check on Black Star. I still kept my head down and stayed near the back of the group, showing the shyer side of me. In fact, I don't think earlier did anything. I'm still scared to talk to the people in the group and have a conversation, while Logan is in front talking to everyone so easily. All I really want to do is listen to music and daydream, but I don't want to be rude.

I felt someone nudge me. I looked up and saw it was Soul who nudged me, but when did he get beside me? He smiled when I looked up at him. I felt myself blush a bit.

"We're here." He pointed to the weird looking door. It was round at the top and had a red frame. It was a black door with a death skull at the top of the door and three white lines going diagonally at the bottom with a white trim on the door.

We walked in, but I was kind-of scared to. The walkway had guillotines above us, GUILLOTINES! I don't think I'll be able to understand this school.

"I have to stay calm," I thought, "cause if those guillotine blades have real metal, I'm in trouble."

We walked down the walkway, me being kind-of cautious. We got to a platform and space without the guillotines.

"YESS!" I thought. But I then notice I had something in my arms, but I wasn't carrying anything so I didn't understand what I exactly had in my arms.

"You're safe now, we're out of the walkway." I heard a voice next to me say.

I looked over and saw Soul still standing next to me, slightly blushing. I looked over and saw that I had his arm in my mine. I was literally latched onto his arm. I blushed a red the shade of his red eyes.

"But if you're still scared," he blushed a bit more, "it's cool to hang onto my arm." He looked away from me.

I let go of his arm and apologized to him. "It was really embarrassing that I did that, I bet he thinks I'm a creep! And if I read his mind to know what he's thinking, he think I'm even more of a creep!" I thought, now looking away.

"No need to apologize, it's cool, you did look kind -of freaked out." He told me, trying to make me feel better.

"I just don't like being around metal." I whispered, like speaking to myself a random thought.

"What, you say something?" He asked, looking slightly worried.

My head shot up and I looked at him, "Oh, never mind."

He looked at me strangely, but then went back to his normal expression, thankfully dropping the subject.

Soul's POV

While we walked to the Death Room, I noticed that Violet was at the back of the group, looking out of it, like she was thinking deeply about something. To me it's not cool being alone, so I slowed down and started walking with her.

When we reached the Death Room, I saw that Violet was still out of it so I gave her a slight nudge. When she lifted her head and looked at me, she looked a bit surprised. I smiled because she looked cute. She then blushed which made her look even more cute.

"We're here." I said as I pointed to the door leading to the Death Room.

She looked at the door, as if taking in the appearance of it. When we walked in, Violet immediately saw the guillotines. She got this scared look on her face and then she grabbed my arm. I felt my face heat up but I didn't pull my arm away. She really looked scared while walking down the walkway. When we got to the platform and away from the guillotines, she looked relieved. To be honest, I don't think she knew she was holding my arm.
