"Wait, what?" Nate could hardly believe what Simon had just said.

"I don't know how he could've become a Buizel, though. And it's also just a theory," Simon stated.

"It's highly unlikely. I would feel really bad if the Buizel was Caleb, though," Nate said. "Bushel used Leaf Blade on him twice."

"Ouch..." Simon replied.

The two trainers approached the Grovyle. "Hey, Wolfie? Can you come out please, and bring the Buizel with you?" Simon said.

Wolfie looks out of the bush, seeing Nate and instantly refusing to leave the bush. Nate then sighed and returned Bushel to his Pokeball. When he did this, Wolfie told Caleb, "Stay in here." He then took a small step out of the bush.

"There you are, Wolfie." Simon pets Wolfie on the head, making Wolfie feel good. "Hey, I need to talk to the Buizel. Can you tell him to come out?" Caleb could hear Simon. He wanted to run out and say hi to Simon, but Wolfie had told him to stay there. Wolfie shook his head no.

Upon seeing this, Simon looked into the bush and saw Caleb looking at him. His theory was slowly being proved right. "Why not, Wolfie?"

Caleb didn't want to make Simon pester Wolfie, so he walked out of the bushes slowly on his own. "Oh, it seems he came out on his own. I have a couple questions I want to ask you, if that's okay, and I want you to answer by shaking your head either yes or no. Is that okay?" Caleb shook his head yes.

Simon lightly smiled. "Alright, first question. Have you known Wolfie for longer than 6 months?" Caleb quickly shook his head yes.

Simon looked at Nate for a second. "Alright, second question. Are you from this region?" Caleb thought for a minute, then shook his head yes.

"Okay, one more question." Simon took a breath in. "Is your name Caleb?" Caleb was slightly shocked that Simon knew. Simon smiled more. "I'll take that as a yes." Simon hugged Caleb. Caleb hugged Simon back.

Caleb wanted to say "But how?" but it came out as "Bui bui?" Upon hearing this, Simon sighed. "Well, the other answer I wanted will have to wait until I can understand Pokémon."

"Wait. Doesn't Professor Birch have a PokéTranslator?" Nate asked.

"Oh, yeah!" Simon looked to Caleb. "Is it okay if I pick you up?" Caleb nods yes. Simon then picks Caleb up. "To the Professor's lab!" He started walking back to Littleroot. Wolfie follows Simon and Nate follows Wolfie.

Simon opens the door to the lab and is instantly greeted by Professor Birch. "Hey, Simon! Nate!" He sees Caleb in Simon's arms. "Eh? What Pokémon is that?"

"It's not really a Pokemon... That's why we're here, though. We need to borrow your PokéTranslator." Simon said.

"Hm? Not really a Pokemon?" Birch thought for a second. "If it's not a Pokémon, then what is it?"

"Well, it is a Pokémon, but... well, long story," Nate said.

"I guess you guys could use my PokeTranslator," Birch replied.

"Thanks." Simon walked over to where he knew the PokeTranslator was. It looked like a capsule with a little monitor in the front. He placed Caleb in the PokéTranslator and shut the door. "Caleb, can you hear me?" Caleb nodded yes.

"You know that I can understand you now because you're in the PokéTranslator, right?" Simon said.

"Bui, buizel?" Caleb said. The little monitor showed that Caleb had said "Wait, really?"

"Yes, not directly but I know what you're saying." Simon explained.

"Ok, so... why am I in here?" Caleb said.

"This is the thing that lets me know what you're saying. Caleb, how did you become a Buizel?" Simon asked.

"Wait, what? I'm called a Buizel?" Caleb said, surprised.

"Yes," Simon replied. "It's from Sinnoh, so I understand why you don't know that."

"Ok, so me and Wolfie were out exploring, and Wolfie found this deflated pool floatie in the ground. I picked it up and examined it, when suddenly it latched around my neck like it had a mind of it's own! Then my hands turned to paws, I grew a tail, I got smaller, and I transformed into this," Caleb explained.

"Have you tried taking the pool floatie off?" Simon asked.

"No, I had plenty of time to do so yet it never crossed my mind," Caleb said sarcastically.

"Pfft." Simon thought for a moment. "Hmm... Wolfie, hand me Caleb's Pokeball."

Wolfie trusted Simon's decision and handed the Pokeball to Simon. Caleb, however, started panicking again. "I DON'T WANNA BE IN THE POKEBALL ANYMORE!" he exclaimed.

"Hey, calm down, I'm not gonna put you in the Pokeball." Simon said. "I'm merely holding onto it."

Caleb calmed down a bit. "So can I come out now?"

"We're gonna need a mobile PokeTranslator soon, but yes, you may come out." Simon says.

Caleb sighed. "Simon?"

Simon looks at Caleb. "Yes, Caleb?"

"Am I gonna be a Pokemon forever?" Caleb asked.

"...I wish I knew..." Simon said with a sigh. Caleb frowned a bit as he exited the PokeTranslator.
