"Huh, that was surprisingly tasty." Caleb had finished the Sitrus Berry, surprised that it actually tasted good.

"See? I told you," Wolfie said.

"Yeah, you told me alright." Caleb replied. He glanced over at the water for a split second before looking back at Wolfie.

Wolfie had caught his glance. "So, do you like water now or something?"

"Huh?" He had never hated water in the past, but he knew what Wolfie meant. "I dunno, it just feels relaxing to be in..."

"Well, it's safe to assume you're probably a water type, then!" Wolfie said, happy.

"I still don't know what I am..." Caleb said.

"Don't worry, we'll find out eventually," Wolfie said reassuringly.

"I know, I know..." Caleb stood up. "Now what?"

"We could go explore, like we had planned to when you were human," Wolfie suggested.

"You know what? Yeah! Let's do that!" Caleb was happy he could still explore. "Wait, where's my bag?"

"Oops. I think it fell off with your clothes..." Wolfie said.

"Your Pokeball was in there! Now what?!" Caleb started panicking again.

"Caleb, chill out... If it matters that much, we can go see if it's still there..." Wolfie said.

"Yeah, let's do that." Caleb calmed down a bit, walking towards Route 101 again.

Simon had decided to take a stroll out near Route 101 on this fine day. He walked along the route, avoiding the tall grass when possible. Eventually, he reached the halfway point where the lake was. He found some... very interesting things here. One was a hole. Looks like a Poochyena dug here. The other thing he found was the bag and clothes of his friend, Caleb. "Wha?"

Simon was very confused. He looked out to the lake, seeing no one there. "Caleb? Where are you?" He notices how the clothes were collapsed, as if Caleb had suddenly jumped out of them. "I gotta tell his mom..." He picks up the bag and clothes and heads back to Littleroot.

When he arrives, he knocks on Caleb's door. His mom answers it. "Oh, hello Simon! What's up?"

"I found Caleb's clothes and bag by the lake on Route 101..." Simon said.

"Well, was he swimming there?" Caleb's mom asked.

"No, ma'am," Simon replied.

"Do you know where he is?" Caleb's mom asked, worry in her voice.

"No, ma'am, I do not," Simon replied.

"Oh dear..." Caleb's mom is now extremely worried. "I need to make a phone call real quick..." She pulls out a phone and dials 911. "Hello? I'd like to report a missing child, about 5'1", 11 years old, was last seen with a Poochyena..."

After the phone call, Caleb's mom sat on the couch. "I hope he's okay..."

Meanwhile, Caleb and Wolfie arrive at Route 101. They get to where the backpack and clothes were, and... "They're gone!" Caleb exclaimed.

"Hang on." Wolfie goes to where they were and sniffs it. "This way." He follows the scent to Littleroot.

"Woah, Wolfie, what are they gonna think when they see me?" Caleb asked.

"Oh, um... They aren't gonna know it's you... And we can't directly communicate with them..." Wolfie stated. "Uhhhh can you pretend you aren't you?"

"Um, I guess.... I don't like pretending to be someone I'm not, though..." Caleb said.

"I mean, technically, you're not... You aren't really 'Caleb' anymore," Wolfie replied.

"Okay... I guess..." Caleb said.

They walk to Littleroot. Caleb is a little nervous the whole walk there... How could he pretend to be someone he's not? He'd have to keep himself from hugging his mom and pretend to not know her. Whatever, it's fine, Caleb thought, Wolfie's got this.

When they arrive there, Caleb is more nervous then he's ever been. "Hey, Caleb," Wolfie said, "It's okay, I got this, calm down."

"O-okay..." Caleb replied, trying to calm himself down.

Wolfie gets to Caleb's house, pawing at the door. Caleb's mom opens it, unsure of who the Buizel was. She looked down at Wolfie and immediately recognized them. "Wolfie! Oh, I'm so glad you're okay!" She then looks to Caleb. "Er, is he your friend?" Wolfie nodded happily.

"Have you seen Caleb?" Caleb's mom asked. Caleb had to try very hard not to say anything. Wolfie shook his head no sadly. "Oh..." Wolfie walks into the house. Caleb awkwardly walks behind him.

Wolfie looks around for Caleb's bag, spotting it on the kitchen table. He quickly attempts to jump onto the table, successfully doing so and digging into the bag. Caleb's mom pulls him out of the bag. "Wolfie, don't get in Caleb's stuff while he's gone..."

Wolfie continued to try to get into the bag or at least push it off the table so Caleb could catch it, ultimately failing. "Wolfie..." Caleb's mom sets Wolfie on the floor. He immediately jumps back onto the table, pushing the bag off the table. He then motions Caleb to grab it. He does.

"Wolfie! Don't take Caleb's stuff!" Caleb's mom tried to take the bag away from Caleb. Then Wolfie sniffed the bag. Caleb's mom looks at Wolfie and realizes what she thinks he's trying to do. "Oh, you're trying to use the bag to track Caleb's scent, right?" Wolfie nods. "Oh, okay. Hurry back!" She opens the front door, and Caleb and Wolfie run out and back to Route 101.
