27.police station

Adams p.o.v.

Me and Mitch head to the police station to clearly and concisely explain what happened from the start to now. Mitch started crying when he had to talk about what my dad did to him and Jerome when they were little. I sat there listening to every horrible detail of what my dad has done. Why has I ever trusted him?He doesn't deserve my trust. He doesn't deserve anybody's trust. Especially Ty's mom. Then the question hit my mind like a baseball to a baseball bat.

"Uhm, Have you found Ty's mom? Mrs.Lox?" I ask, worry in my voice.

"Yes sir, we have."

"Do, do you know if she's alive?"

"I'm afraid she's not, sunny. "

I let out a 'oh' and set back into my seat. I guess that's life. Why does my dad have to me such an asshole, and a fucking murderer, and rapist?What the fuck is wrong with him?

"Have you found my asshole of a dad?" I ask, anger raging through me.

"We have. We found him beaten at your house a couple hours ago. He's no exactly dead but he's in prison. "

I nod and think to myself of how much he should be dead, but prison is still pretty bad.I think I what I did and how much I hurt and beat up my dad, so question is, do I get in trouble?People are calling me a hero and all but..I can't help but wonder if what I did is to be used as criminal.

"What about me?Yah know, how I beat up my dad. Do I get in trouble for that?Do I get sent to some kind of facility?"

The officer pauses for a moment to gather the right things to say.

"Well, that depends on the judge takes it. And how good of a lawyer your lawyer will be. To me, honestly, it was completely self defense. But the judge may not think that. "

I think about that and nod, believing what he says 100%.

"What about us missing school for a little bit?"

The officer chuckles and stands up.

"Sunny, you guys are not in trouble at all, okay?Ill make sure of it. Go and do something, go to the movies, do get something like flowers for your friends. Stop worrying, it'll be okay. "

I nod and stand up to shake his hand. He smiles and leads us outside, where he shows us a taxi he called for us.

"See you guys in a couple days okay?"The officer laughs and pats us on the back.

We both show up at a movie theater and get some popcorn and a couple of sodas. We went to see Frozen, which we both haven't seen due to the gap between our outer space life and our school and well-being.

And man, what an amazing movie it 'twas.
The song kept repeating in my mind over again and again.

"Do you want to build a snowman?Come on let's go and play!I never see you anymore, come out the door, lets not delay!We used to be best buddies, but now were not, please won't you tell me why...Do you wanna build a snowman?It doesn't have to be a snowman...(go away Ana!) okay bye...."
