Words Can Hurt

The entire school was filled with pictures of me. They were all fake and photoshopped, but that didn't matter. The captions were really heart-tearing.

"She's so fat"

"Ew"

"Goody Goody"

"Go die, no one likes you"

And much worse. I could barely walk through the halls without being pushed, kicked, or laughed at. The name-calling was the worst. It made me feel more insecure than ever.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."

But that's not true. Words do hurt, and when I walked into school and saw,what happened, I felt like I was being stabbed. Like a piercing sword through me. It's hard being a normal girl in general, but if you've had a past like me, it's worse.

I took down almost all the pictures. Some will,just have to wait until tomorrow. I went to history. I spent the entire period trying to figure out who would do such a thing. It's only the 2nd day of school, how could I have made so many enemies so fast?

A loud noise interrupted my thoughts. The sound of books. Hard books, were being thrown at me. The teacher tried calming everyone, but with no luck. A couple hit me, but the rest came close. So, I'm officially hated by all. The remainder school day went just as badly.

I constantly tried to pin-point the girl or boy who started this mess. But who? Who would have started it? Finally I realized it- Mary.

Of course it was Mary. I can't believe after everything we've been through, she did this too me. To make matters worse, while ju was removing posters in the halls, I saw Mary and Rachel together. They were laughing, and as I walked by, I got the "Dirty Look." Great, now I'm officially friendless.

When I got home from school, I grabbed an apple from the basket and went into my room. As I was reaching for my laptop, my phone went off, indicating that I'd gotten a text. I checked it, but the number was blocked.
