•• Make Me See Stars ••

Love works in mysterious ways. You knew that for sure. How? By the way he made you feel when he
Shouldn't make you feel like that. It was completely against your family's morals. You shouldn't even be near him, but you couldn't help it. He was intoxicating.

His eyes would meet yours and everything in the world made sense. The sun shined a bit brighter and the grass looked greener. Not to mention the butterflies. The butterflies were your favorite part. They made you feel like you could float away into happiness at any point, but they also made you feel like you were going to throw up all the time.

" Y/N?" He whispers, placing his index finger under your chin and turning your face to his. You gasp at the sheer intensity of his gaze. It made warmth pool in your stomach.

" Jonah?" You whisper. Your eyes cut down to his lips before traveling back up to his eyes, a move not missed by the boy.

He purses his lips, something he often did when he was thinking of something unpleasant. " My parents are suspicious."

" What?" Your heart beats faster.

This was not good. His parents nor yours could never find out about your relationship. It would bring a chain reaction of fights and possibly even violence.

" They found my box of our letters." Jonah explains. Your eyes widen. " I stopped them before anything could be really seen, but they did read how I call you my star."

You let out a breath you didn't even know you were holding.
" What's going to happen?" You murmur. You knew Jonah's parents wouldn't just let his secret relationship be written off.

Their ability to hold a grudge is actually why it was so imperative that no one found out. Your parents and Jonah's had once been best friends. They did everything together. Your mothers would do the shopping together, your fathers would watch the game together. But, for some unknown reason, when they got pregnant with you and Jonah, there had been a misunderstanding and they swore to never be friends again. They even banished you even swore never to let their children see each other. So, they built a wall between your houses. More like a brick fence, though.

So much for that plan. Four years ago ,when you guys were twelve, the both of yours curious nature got the best of you, and you ran into each other trying to cross the wall. Like literally. You had just gotten over as Jonah came up and he had fell over, bringing you back onto your side. After a big argument where the word meanie was thrown around, the two of you became secret friends.

Secret friends turned into secret pen pals. Secret pen pals turned into secret best friends. And secret best friends had turned into a secret relationship.

Now, you and Jonah were one month away from your eighteenth birthday. You and him had even been born on the same day!

" I don't know. All I know is thy watch my every move when they're up. I barely made it out cause of the extra security they added." He sighs.

Your eyes turn sad. The moonlight turns dull. " Oh."

Jonah takes your hand. " Listen to me, star, I am not going to let them tear us apart. They aren't going to have their way on this."

" How?" You sniffle. " How can we survive? If they find out about us they will separate us for good."

" We'll run away. On our eighteenth birthday." He says determined.

You look in his eyes and see the utmost sincerity. " Are you serious?"

" Yes. I'm serious. Star, I love you with every fiber of my being; my happiness. I'm not letting my parents take away my
Happiness. They have taken several happy things away from me, and I am not going to stand for it. What do you say? Will you run away with me?"
