        >> Midnight Calls >>

" Hello?" Zach's voice floats through the phone.

You gasp, too shocked and cascaded to say anything. You grip your chair anxiously, leaning forward. You heartbeat was erratic. You place a hand in your stomach as the nauseous feeling took over.

" Y/N?" Zach's voice is cold.

You panic, letting out a squeak and hanging up. You throw your phone across the room, ignoring the crunchy of glass and put your head in your hands.

You should've said something.

You should've apologized...again.

You should've begged for him to take you back.

You sigh as the door bustles open, your best friend, Gabbie, sashaying in with a bag full of groceries. You lived with her and you guys' other best friend, Christina. They also were dating Zach's best friends, Corbyn and Jack.

" Hey, girl!" She smiles.

You jus nod your head, staring at the floor in though. Gabbie sets the bags down, lookin at you and sighing sadly. " Y/N, are you thinking about him again?"

" No!" You say too quickly.

She raises an eyebrow.

" I'm not." You try to say seriously.

That perfect eyebrow arches even more.

" I can't help it." You concede, sagging into the chair.

Gabbie frowns and bends down in front of you. " Zach doesn't deserve you. What he did was terrible, and for it he lost the girl of his dreams and two of his best friends. Hell, I hear Jonah and Daniel are barely talking to him too."

You look up at her with wide eyes. " That's terrible!" You exclaim. " Those are his best friends! They shouldn't be ignoring him just because I couldn't be what he wanted me to be. It's my fault not his."

Gabbie makes a angry noise that you've never heard come out of He petite girl before. She points a finger in your face. " I don't ever, ever want to hear you say that, Y/N. That wasn't your fault. It was his."

Gabbie stands up, growling when you stay silent, looking at your hands. You can hear that she's pacing, something she did when she got mad. Inside, you were screaming at yourself for pissing her off. You didn't intend to.

The door opens again.

" Hello, my chickees!" Christina chirps. You look up, a faint smile on your face. Christina had a bright smile and her eyes were wide with happiness. In her arms, were four movies and six bags of chocolate.

Christina surveys your solemn expression, then Gabbie's pacing, and she drops everything. She automatically walks over to you, dropping down like Gabbie did.

" You thinking about it?" She softly asks.

" How can I not?" You sigh.

Christina sympathetically rubs your knee, standing up and turning to Gabbie. " We need to get her mind off of him." She hisses.

" I know, what do you think I've been trying to do." Gabbie whispers back.

" We could always force her against her will to go out." Christina suggests.

" I'm her state? Bad idea. Why don't we just have a movie night?"

" We've dome that three nights in a row since she started thinking about it again."
