                   TRIGGER WARNING

<< J.S.S <<

You observe around you, holding your breath and inert. The room is empty. You breathe out a sigh of relief, slumping into your chair.

But, your relief is short lived when the door bursts open. A man with a black bandana covering his nose and mouth. He is holding a large gun, and it's pointing right at you.

" DOWN ON THE GROUND!" The man shouts.

" Please." You plead, holding your hands up. Your eyes are filled with panic, thinking you are going to die. The thought made your mind run with a dozen thoughts. All of them had to do with your Fiancé, Daniel Seavey.

" I SAID DOWN ON THE GROUND!" The man repeats.

You whimper, doing as he says. You kneel on your knees, hoping that your tight skirt won't inch up. The man walks over to your desk and starts looting through it.

" Do you know the passwords to the vault?" He grunts.

Yes.

" No." You lie.

" Are you lying to me?"

Yes.

" No."

The man slams your desk drawer shut, making you whimper and jump. You close your eyes and pray that you would make it through this.

" Get up." The man orders.

You take a deep breath, feeling the gun against your back. Your heart beats quicker than it already was, which seemed impossible. You get up off the floor with your hands still up, he pushes you to exit your office, and you really don't want to. You had heard the gunfire start.

He walks you over to a line of civilians, all of them were either crying or silent. Your eyes look all around the room, gasping when you see the mangled and bloody body of your boss.

" Come On, keep moving!" Another nudge.

You force your feet to move forward and plop down into a chair. The man looks at you with cold eyes. " Keep still, don't move. If I see you move, I won't hesitate to put a bullet in your head."

You gulp and nod. You bounce your leg anxiously, wanting nothing more but to run. Run and hide. But you couldn't, not if you wanted to survive to see Daniel again.

Daniel.

He should be here soon. He would save you and the others. You knew he would. There was no way these robbers would get away with this. Yo look up at the guy who has bursted into your office with a trepidation.

" What?" He sneers.

" Nothing."
You mumble.

Just you wait, robbers. You will regret trying to rob this bank. Just you wait.

Chief of Police, Daniel Seavey, was having a quiet morning at work. It had been so quiet that he was even able to stop at a cafe to grab coffee with his co-worker and best friend, Jack Avery.

He hadn't had a quiet morning like this in ages, but living in New York City, he never expected it to be quiet.

Daniel, sitting in his office, starts to have second thoughts about his good morning. He had been working long enough as a police officer to know that quiet mornings led to something big.
